I had an email today about the events which are happening tomorrow but thanks for posting the info. I'm not keen on the new merchandise though to be honest.

They rather have karaoke than ask other band members to contribute something... That karaoke idea is appalling, I guess some intern at Ignition came up with that nonsense... Why not ask the members of No Way Sis to contribute something instead?

Is the AUDIO remixed or (again) remastered in any way for these HD videos? The second chorus of Wonderwall in the new video sounds “better” to me for some reason, real or imagined. Liam sounds less flat than on the record.

I mean, Noel was the one that was there for the entire recording process and he wrote all of the songs. Liam and Bonehead would do their parts and then be down at the pub while Noel was actually doing everything else. Those two need to chill out. I disagree with respect. Oasis were and never has been "Noel Gallagher & Co.". Noel's songs and Liam's voice made the band what they were/are and not forget Bonehead, Guigsy and Alan. Without them, Gallaghers wouldn't have been able to make it happen. Same. Don't really buy the "Noel wrote the songs" argument. Of course he did and he is well credited for it. But many bands have a primary songwriter. Roger Daltrey didn't write Who songs or play an instrument (and for that matter, he couldn't even stand to be in the same room with Pete for years), but if you're making a promo video or doing events for a Who anniversary, you'd approach Roger ... because there is no Who without Roger Daltrey. Water under the bridge at this point, and definitely a drop in the bucket of brotherly angst, but it's not really defensible. They simply chose to not ask anyone else to be part of it because they couldn't be bothered. The end.

Yeah. Some arguments here... Liam doesn’t remember half of it? Thank god Noel didn’t take drugs in 90s so his memory should be perfect. Bonehead had his Twitter listening parties, that’s enough for him, let’s him left out the album anniversary made by the band he founded? Noel’s finally after 25 years has opportunity to talk about his songwriting process, therefore the other members are not needed? Like? And with the way Alan White's been playing clips of old Oasis stuff on instagram, maybe he'd have been open to saying a few words this time, if someone reached out. That would have been neat.

Listening to this album for the first time in a while in honour of its birthday. DLBIA outro still gives me goosebumps, no matter how many times I hear it!

My goosebumps moment from WTSMG is the guitar solo from Some Might Say just before the 2nd verse.
OOF. SHIVERS.

Oh so many moments Hello's bridge, Noel's backing vocals on Cast No Shadow, Some Might Say's verses, that drum roll before after the guitar solo in DLBIA and the outro as well, Liam's voice on Wonderwall and that crazy ending with the epicness of Champagne Supernova A stellar record which deserves every bit of the classic status it's got now after 25 years

alan don't like NG & Ignition? Because Noel is not in that photo? He has other photos with Noel there, and has answered before that he's good with everybody.

Liam is just as important to Oasis to what Noel is and not forgetting the others in the band too whether it's the original line up or the later ones.

Well I had an email from Norman's Records today to say that my copy of (What's The Story) Morning Glory silver vinyl has been shipped but nothing from the Oasis store yet about the other stuff though.

What I can't understand is why people are complaining about something nice we're getting.
I don't know if you've been following the brother's for the last few years, but they hate each other. They simply can't stand each other and they are not doing something together, end of story.
We either get something from one of them, or we don't get shit, simple as that. If this was an initiative from Noel, of course he wouldn't ask Liam to join. So what's the point in bickering about something that was never on the table to begin with?
I'm glad we're getting something about Oasis after so many years
