Would Liam get a royalty from this being released under the Oasis name? Yes, since they both have a deal under the Oasis name. But Liam wont notice on his bank account, since stream revenues are quite low. I doubt anyone else but hardcore fans will listen to it more than once.

If it's under NGHFB name, many people wouldn't mention about this song.

Finally had a chance to give it a listen. You can tell it's only a demo as it has a similar feel to the demos from the first HFB album. That being said, i really like it. I miss this sort of music from Noel, it's got soul to it.
Edit: Also love the Dig A Pony throw back.

Liam responded on Twatter:
"Well there’s something missing in this god almighty stew and it’s your brother your brother don’t forget your brother La as you were LG x"
which is an reference to a 70s Lennons demo unreleased parody of Bob Dylan's Gotta Serve Somebody

I don't really like him releasing this under the Oasis name. I suppose it's better than calling it a High Flying Birds track, but it doesn't quite sit right with me. Honestly. I'm hearing a lot arguments against but not many alternatives. What name is he supposed to release it under? I'm genuinely curious. Goel Nallagher?

It's too bad things are so bitter between the Oasis management and Liam that they can't even discuss things like releasing a song under Oasis name.

There was an instrumental tune they soundchecked as a full band (minus Liam obv) on the last tour that I can't find on YouTube any more. It sounded great, I'd love to know what happened with it.

I love the tune.
No, it’s not a classic, nor a sweeping anthem, nor a Liam snarl, but it’s a nice Noel melody and a bloody Oasis tune out of nowhere.
Big thumbs up!

Honestly if Oasis announced a reunion and new album tomorrow people here would find something to complain about.
It's a good tune!

Here's the full list post Be Here Now with no official release as I know it: There's a demo of an Andy/Gem instrumental that Andy played on a podcast a year or so ago. They titled it The Tile Yardies or something? Sorry I don't have it handy right now. Circa Dig Out Your Soul? Thanks, I'll look into it.

Just checking spotify and "Oasis - Complete Playlist" with the artwork of "Don't Stop.." is on there, but no song itself. Haven't checked iTunes yet.

A really great surprise and treat. More than makes up for RSD being delayed. I was worried it would be like the final version of God Help Us All, but it's miles better. I'd love to know exactly when it was recorded. Hopefully more Oasis surprises to come

Oh gosh! I remember listening to the soundcheck back in 2009 sooo many times!
A few years after be split I stopped posting here and listening to them (as actively as before)... And this morning I woke up hearing this song on the radio. It's so emotional to hear it back! It goes very deep!
Thanks Noel. Made may day.

Maybe release it as Oasis but put the year as 2000-and-whatever. There's just something about it being labelled a new Oasis single that irks me, particularly if Liam wasn't asked about it. I'm sure the world will keep turning, though, I'm gonna have a tuna toastie.

I dont mind it being oasis. Some tracks on dbtt are Noel only, most acoustic BSides too, and nobody cares.
Gets better with every listen too. Strong bside. The door to unreleased stuff is opening slowly, that’s Noel testing the water here.

It’s up on iTunes Store to purchase now and Apple Music to stream and all the others.

By the logic of not wanting this as Oasis, you might as well say all the SOTSOG demos, bar Little James aren't Oasis. Same with the Mustique ones. Only Noel played on them.

I’m liking it much more with repeated listens. It’s a demo, but it’s a good demo.

Nothing special and can see why it never got a release. Same old acoustic Noel song we've heard a hundred times before. Cool to get something from the archives out of the blue though. Keep them coming.

I must say that I am bit disappointed that there is no one coughing at the beginning/end of the song. Definitely not a true Oasis demo without it!
