Drops at midnight.
He says that some people love the tune, though I'm not aware of any song with that title?

Will this go up as an Oasis song then? Or NG?
Super exited to hear it finally.

That is the one song I've been hoping he'd do a studio version for. There is a great quality soundcheck for the song from France, I think as part of a news feature, but it's only about 30 seconds long. Can't wait to hear this. Thank you, Chief.

"Back home to where I beellllloooonng", yes! This his been in my signature thingy (over there <<<<<<<<<<<) for forever now, I love this beautiful tune, and it's the last of the "Soundcheck era" songs (first was If I had a gun a decade ago, Everybody's on the run, Dying of the light...) which seems to have come to end.
We'd be tantalized by the way these tunes sounded bouncing around in the massive acoustics of empty concert halls and sung with such unaffected passion... then we'd get the studio versions and wonder where they'd lost the soul, heart and balls in the arranging / production process. Even if this isn't much cop,I'll always have 'the original'.
I'm not saying the song is the best ever or anything, I'm not sure it necessarily would have made for a great album track, and it obviously doesn't warrant a place on the David Holmes LPs going forward, it just still means a lot to me.

Its supposed to be on his album for a reason, its a strong song, which by the way kind of suit the times now, being melancholic and all

Great news. Love the soundcheck version so hopefully it won't be that much different.

Good song to suit the times. Quite a bit sentimental and has the usual 'half the world away' vibes about family or anythin lol

A "new" Oasis song, nice! I haven't heard it before.

During the Reddit AMA back in 2015 he said the song had already been recorded. I'm happy to get it, I've always loved the melody of it.

I've waited for so long this release. I'm so excited! The song is magic, the best "unreleased" song. It has a kind of early 2010s vibe.

There's also this post from jeffslate from 2011. So maybe the demo comes from the NGHFB recording sessions. Nah. He made it clear those are his songs ("I have a LOT of songs from that time" in simple demo form) are his and he's going to do something with them himself. For instance "Come On It's Alright" (now called Come On Outside") and "God Help Us All" and "Don't Stop The Happening" were worked on during the sessions for this album and he just ran out of steam after being in the studio for a year, but they will be on the 2 planned albums AFTER the AA album.

Was the sound check not from about 10 years ago from the Dig Out Your Soul tour?

Was the sound check not from about 10 years ago from the Dig Out Your Soul tour? Yep. 2009 I think. Noel is always terrible with remembering dates / years.
