Sounds great , what era are we talking about for this one ? Album sessions? Well we know the Soundcheck was 2009 Hong Kong. Think it's fair to say they didn't demo any tunes following that until they split up so it's either DBTT or DOYS. To me, Noel's voice sounds more like 06-07, but the 'vibe' of it is very DBTT.

Doesn't have the magic of the soundcheck. It could have been developed into something really great. Oh well... I really think this is prior to the soundcheck. I'd have loved it to be done on an album (but would end up being an NGHFB song obviously) and given the big treatment, but I do like how raw it is. It's an 11 to 15-year-old song. Is what it is. But it's great to have.

Good of Noel to put it out there, not that great though.
Definitely sounds DBTT to me.

I really like Noel's vocal on this as well, much prefer it to his latest vocal work.

Like IIHAG I've always thought this was one of Noel's most promising melodies, so I'm glad this is getting released in some form. I remember loving it back in 09 and I have to admit in the 11 years since it's still a masterclass of melody on Noel's part.
Shed a little tear just cause of all the life that's happened since we first heard this song. It's kinda beautiful y'all. It's good to see some familiar faces that we talking about this song back in *09 talking about it now. That's the power of music.
Sounds like it was written 04-08 range. I bet on around 06 when he was doing those acoustic gigs with Gem and Terry for the promo of Stop the Clocks.
Sure, it could use some more seasoning from a production perspective, and I would have liked it to be more slow rhythmically, but the song's still got that magic melody that really only Noel can conjure up. I haven't listened to some pure singer-songwriter music (like a person and their acoustic guitar) cause it's like Coke. I know what Coke tastes like, I've had it plenty of times before, but I don't drink it anymore cause it's lost it's fizz to me.
This song is like drinking Coke after a while. Noel's really the only one can still tingle my ears with just an acoustic guitar and his melodies.

I just came back from work after a long day just to discover a new single by Oasis. Still can't believe it.
And I might be on a minority but I quite like the artwork, to be honest. Of course it's not amazing, but has some SOTSOG/HC vibe, even the font was very common during the late 90s and early 00s so it fits as a "lost" Oasis track from 2004-5.

If we're talking about songs from this era (circa 2005ish), then what the hell happened to 'Show Me Your Love'? Would love to hear that, even in demo form.
Five albums from Liam since DBTT and it's nowhere to be seen or heard.

Only listened to it once so far but it's great. Hope he finds more gems amongst all those CDs!

Five albums from Liam since DBTT and it's nowhere to be seen or heard. Maybe it was fragmentary or maybe Gem had a hand in the writing and he doesn’t want to put it out. Would great to hear the songs that were taped at those sessions, seems like they all had quite a few songs floating about.

Would Liam get a royalty from this being released under the Oasis name?

He still has a couple more songs to clear out and then we officially would enter an era of not knowing what he has left. - Oh Lord - She Must Be One of Us - Let It Come Down Over Me - Sing (If The Song's Worth Singing) - For One So Young For One So Young is out there. Still waiting for a collector to make a nice present to the Oasis fandom and release it... Oh I know its "out there" but only for like 2-3 people.

I think if you liked/loved the soundcheck then you'll like this. If you just thought the soundcheck was just 'okay' (whatever that is relatively to everyone's opinion, obvs) you'll just think this is okay. I love the soundcheck. Love this version. Yeh, I'd love it to get the full album treatment but we're getting an Oasis song for the first time in 10 years (I know, both Noel and Liam/BE have put out 'Oasis' songs since but this is Oasis in every sense it seems). I'm sure that's Gem on guitar, Noel just doesn't have that style. Probably does seem that 06 Stop The Clocks tour time. Just love it. As cast says, it's just a reminder of how good they / Noel can be with melodies. The melody in this has always had me, from first hearing the soundcheck, and it does mean a lot to me to have an actual version which isn't that fuzzy recording.

Meh, it's pretty boring to me. I'm glad others are digging it. It's only a demo so I can't make too much judgement either way but I don't I'm gonna go back to it more than a handful more times.

Here's the full list post Be Here Now with no official release as I know it: There's a demo of an Andy/Gem instrumental that Andy played on a podcast a year or so ago. They titled it The Tile Yardies or something? Sorry I don't have it handy right now. Circa Dig Out Your Soul?
