To not get you too excited, he said it was just an idea for now I wouldn’t be excited if I was an Oasis, Noel or Liam fan. If he goes ahead with this I think it makes a few things less likely. That these songs would be included on any fuller Oasis anthology project, that the new versions would be as good as the demo’s and that if Liam had had a go at any of them it would pretty much guarantee us never hearing those versions. |

Well, he's got plenty of time at the moment to record all of the songs so he could at least record at least some of them if he can't manage them all if he's also busy working on his next album.

It seems to me he's trying to clean up all the leftovers from the Oasis days But to be fair what he said is that he was going through stuff for a project that never took place and so the idea to actually rerecord those songs (14 he says) sprang to his mind, and he said it's stuff that never even got demoed, so I'm not sure they qualify for the Oasis archives |

Very interesting to hear Noel say that a bunch of unreleased/unrecorded Oasis songs like Slow were intended for a project that fell apart. Glad he’s planning to record all 14 proper but with Noel you never know which direction the wind will blow him.
It seems like all work on his new LP has stopped since England is in a new lockdown. He doesn’t have a home studio and wouldn’t want to use one if he did.
Mentioned writing a new song in the dropped D.
Glad he spoke song about Slow. Takes me back to high school in 1997 when Owen Morris first spoke of the song. And then nothing about it outside Noel making a quick comment about it in 2005 and called it a “slow song”.

From what he said I assume it exists, it was never recorded but he remembers it and might've listed it somewhere (which may be why he stumbled across it now) It's also called slow because it says slow in the chorus, which he kinda muttered but it was mostly non audible  |

I never personally doubted that it exists because of that Q magazine article. Matt specifically asked Noel if “Slow” morphed into another song or was recorded under another title. Noel said nope, it still exists and never recorded. Who knows when we will even hear these 14 songs. He’s making an album right now (on pause because of lockdown) which seems totally separate from his 14 unreleased tracks. |

Personally I really hope that Noel does manage to give us some more old Oasis songs as I would love to hear them and it would be something to look forward to during these dark days. I mean nobody knows exactly when both Noel and Liam will and can put out their next albums so it would be nice to hear something from Noel at least even though they're only old Oasis demos.
