Even less likely to do that since that old recording came out of laughing boy Matt joking with his pal Russell Brand after the latter's sexual harassment of a woman just prior to them going on air. I bet him and Noel haven't even acknowledged the allegations on the podcast, have they? Like a million other podcasts, it's just bants innit? Football, celebrity feuds, yada yada... The world's so full of shit we could do without.

Infuriating because if all of us were in Matt Morgan's position we'd be asking if he would write the entire album. Please Noel, if you ever get back together, write the entire album!

Matt Morgan is one of two things:

1. The bloke is just a fucking waste of space with a famous mate
2. He's been told by "the chief" to not actually engage him on any of his ramblings or musings and to sit there and listen whilst hoping to make a quid or two off Noel being on his podcast.

He's probably a bit of both.

To me oasis getting together for anything more then some gigs would be a disappointment. Like their last few records were.

I’m not convinced it would be very good to be honest.

Noel talks like he's moved on musically but he says it in a way like it's so far removed from Oasis, it's not.

Let's be honest, pretty much most of Noels solo output is completely middle of the road stuff, except some parts of who built the moon, most of which it sounds like Holmes put together, and a few EP's that nobody really cares about much. But 90% of his solo music is middle of the road pop rock music, its not THAT far removed from Oasis, except its mostly not as good and he can't deliver a song as good as Liam. But it's not he's done some huge shift in genres.

I'm sure he could easily tap back into the Oasis sound. He acts like he's done a Fatboy Slim and gone from a musician in a band to being a huge name in dance music. Really he's just writing mostly guitar songs with less excitement and balls.

I agree. Noel wrote great Oasis tracks decades ago.

He actually said earlier in the ep though that he reckons it would be fun  to try it.

Like you say, his point was if he wrote an Oasis album for where he is now, then it wouldn't be the same.

He's not remotely the same songwriter he was in the mid-2000s. Not in terms of quality, just where he's at.

I don't think Noel could just drop a 'Shock Of The Lightning' out like he did back in 2007.

They reference it a few times throughout. There's not anything mean said about it, it's just a bit funny - because fucking hell that lyric is awful. I mean most people caught on it, so it's hardly like Noel was gonna let a bit of a chance to have a dig go. 

There's very little slagging off of Liam when he's on it, tbh.

As for Morgan, he is a bit of a wipe. I don't think he's really a big Oasis fan at all or ever was. But him and Noel butt heads a bit but they're mates at the end of the day - it hardly gets massively deep, but there's some good chats about music and life and all that. When it's funny it's really funny but both of them apparenly have memories like sieves anyway so it can be a lot of talking about the same stuff.
