New podcast released today Any highlights? Good fun (one of their best imo) but nothing noteworthy besides Noel saying Liam was the best thing in the Knebworth doc and them announcing but not announcing that they're gonna be on the radio (no idea where, but I guess it's Radio X) on monday |

But yes, the section where he praised Liam was a surprise. He sounded very sincere - it is the softest I've heard him talk about Liam in a long time. |

So, he got asked about Liam, although not at the right time (listeners will know  ) Basically just said "good luck to him", and from what I got he was told in advance (unless I misunderstood the tone), anyway he was cool with it Nothing new on the album apart from the fact that he's working on tunes and recording, Matt didn't ask this time |

He seems very much at peace with Liam these days, whenever he's mentioned. Certainly the least bitter I've heard about him. Maybe he's come to accept that Liam is also carrying his songwriting legacy as a very successful solo star.
Hopefully there's been some sort of truce, at least for them and their mother's sake.

I'm not a listener of the podcast, but a clip of Noel talking about Knebworth was shared on twitter. Funny how some people were claiming Noel would be mad at Liam announcing Knebworth when he already knew and had wished him good luck.

He definitely doesn't sound as bitter and angry, and we can only hope it stems from some internal process. The cynic in me says he became aware of the fact that people were not digging the angry Noel we've seen the past couple of years, and this toned down version is for the sake of public relations. But whatever, I can actually listen to an interview with him now, where this time last year I couldn't be bothered.

I don't listen to the podcast either but I agree it does seem like Noel has excepted Liam's success as a solo artist and that can only be a good thing. And, yes it would be great if both Noel and Liam have come to some kind of truce. But we shall see.

I think he’s kind of at peace with where he’s at. Liam’s doing all the big gigs and keeping the oasis fire going which puts less pressure on Noel who can kind of do what he wants now. |

Emre was brought in my David Holmes and he did great. He did the awesome drumming on She Taught Me How To Fly. Noel liked him so much he kept him for the EPs. He praised how Emre helped modernize his sound. |

I did enjoy Noel's story about being given a box of Pretty Green stuff and then him dumping it outside a charity shop only to see the mannequins in the window dressed in it all a month before it was officially due out. I saw this story in the news. So Noel is now claiming it was the real reason they had the final fight? I can't listen to what he actually said, but it wouldn't surprise me that they did stupid stuff like that to irritate each other. |

Nah Noel told it as a funny story and at the end laughingly said (more or less) "in hindsight that was probably the reason of the split" The press obviously had to turn it into a big time serious revelation because that's what they do |

I haven't been listening to these podcasts since they were behind a pay wall but I get the feeling that Noel has a bit more of a chilled attitude towards Liam.
He used to have a dig any time he spoke about him, in the past 12-18 months. Also, Liam hasn't had a proper dig recently... just more bantery comments.
I think something has happened between them. A truce or something, surely.
I know FOR A FACT that there are 3 ITK accounts on here.... DM me folks if you know anything!
