I think both are certainly mellowing about the other.
Noel is realising that nowadays, Liam really is helping continue the Oasis' legacy with his gigs being seen as closer to how Oasis were. While Liam doesn't seem quite as vicious and angry on Twitter about Noel, and even in Beady Eye Liam never really stopped praising his writing talent.
Perhaps doing the Knebworth documentary and the new book interviews reminded them just how much they needed and helped each other back in the day.

I saw this story in the news. So Noel is now claiming it was the real reason they had the final fight? I can't listen to what he actually said, but it wouldn't surprise me that they did stupid stuff like that to irritate each other. Nah Noel told it as a funny story and at the end laughingly said (more or less) "in hindsight that was probably the reason of the split" The press obviously had to turn it into a big time serious revelation because that's what they do This just seems to belong here ... |

I did enjoy Noel's story about being given a box of Pretty Green stuff and then him dumping it outside a charity shop only to see the mannequins in the window dressed in it all a month before it was officially due out. It doesn't make sense to me, we know very little about their real relationship It's not a TV show, it's their life and tbh it's none of our business We know they haven't spoken to each other in years. So it's safe to assume their relatioship isn't fine. Even Liam said they don't have a relationship anymore in Supersonic. But you are right, we don't know for sure, and it seems things have calmed down, so let's hope some day they can have some sort of relationship again. |

I haven't been listening to these podcasts since they were behind a pay wall but I get the feeling that Noel has a bit more of a chilled attitude towards Liam. He used to have a dig any time he spoke about him, in the past 12-18 months. Also, Liam hasn't had a proper dig recently... just more bantery comments. I think something has happened between them. A truce or something, surely. I know FOR A FACT that there are 3 ITK accounts on here.... DM me folks if you know anything! ITK? Whats that? |

Didn't Noel say there was a clip from the Knebworth documentary about two brothers who attended and one died shortly after - I wonder if that is part of the reason he is mellowing towards Liam? I don't think they will ever be friends again

Latest podcast up, was quite a good one. Sounds like he has a tracklist of 12 songs for the album (didn't get any names) and they have all been demo'd, ordered and decided, they just need recorded. No indication on time. He said it was a nightmare getting the track order in place because the first two songs are “bangers” then the rest of the album has its own story.
They were looking for puns to do with window cleaning and ended up chatting briefly through the album "Heathen Chemistry", was quite interesting.
