The single bombed. It didn't break the US or UK charts, and it failed where it did chart. Noel isn't making any money off of this shit. Apparently the album is terrible and inspired by Oasis, two things that shouldn't go together. I'm not listening to it. There have been a lot of shit bands inspired by Oasis! X Viva Brother, remember them?

Just had a listen. The song's ok but is an obvious rehash of the Oasis style. But other than "But these high walls, they came up short" which sounds like the "Cause we need each other" from Acquiesce, I hear nothing from Cast No Shadow or Stop Crying Your Heart Out... I don't hear at all the similarity with Oasis at all. It's rather in the vein of the prepared mainstream ballads à la Robbie Williams. It sounds like Why Me Why Not then?

I thought it was pretty fun to watch the video with all the references and hear the references in the song. The songs itself was unremarkable though, trio short and forgettable vocals. Nobody writes an Oasis tune like Noel and nobody songs them like Liam.
