He's dropped a bit of a bollock by asking permission, surely Noel wouldn't have sued him if he had just kept quiet about it and released it.

It’s pretty impressive to take so many great songs and be able to mash them into something so unmemorable. X And they say that he is not talented..

yeah same here mate cos i cant hear it either Listened to a bit of it, but gave up. SCYHO is in the intro. The chorus is acquiesce and the call and response part was Cast No Shadow. I thought the Cast No Shadow part is well done. The video references to Live Forever and Champagne Supernova are more obvious. I also sensed other video references that I couldn't quite put a finger on. I think it's a respectable tribute.

What about who feels love? I didn't watch the whole thing, but that's what the set reminded me of.

Just listened to it. I think he could've done more with the vocals. Heard:
Don't go away: verses Cast no shadow: verses Stop crying your heart out: intro Acquiesce: chorus Champagne Supernova: drums
Saw:
Champagne Supernova Live Forever Wall of glass Who feels love?
It was pretty dead mediocre. At least he tried. I'll give him that. Won't be listening again. I leave with a tad more respect for him. It's still close to none though.

I would consider sign of the times one of the best pop songs of the decade. Agreed! An amazing song.

For something that is gonna "cover" some Oasis songs, it's funny how un-Oasis it sounds.

I remember Noel also approved this one with Wonderwall references. Noel didn’t approve this by The Freestylers and it’s better than the other tunes in this thread... X

You seemed skeptical that there were references in the video My apologies but I think we've managed to confuse each other here! I was only skeptical about the thread title that claimed that "One Direction Solo dude covers every Oasis song". A few participants in the thread started a list of the songs covered but it was nowhere near every Oasis song so I simply said "keep going" as obviously alot more would be needed. Then you asked why I was skeptical about the two songs referenced in the video. I wasn't skeptical about them at all. This whole misunderstanding is bloody One Direction's fault.
