Didn't he said he was going to take some time to rest? Like 3 years or some? I honestly hope that we have a single and a b-side at the end of the year and that's it until 2021. I mean, I'd love to have a new record as soon as posible but I prefer that he takes some time to decide the direction. I don't want the next album to be more of the same. 3rd album ALWAYS have to be a change in the creative direction Liam doesn't know how to rest. We gonna have an album with a three-word title every year from now on.

We just have to pray that there isn't a song on the record called 'c'mon ya know'.

Liam have not played together with McCartney or Ringo. So If they played Liam's songs as drummer or bassist and backing vocal, would be f***in' great.

Liam needs to ride this wave for as long as possible so great to see he's capitalising on it.

I’m pleased he’s taking advantage of some unexpected free time this spring but I don’t want Liam to be a machine. I’d much rather wait for an album to be as great as it possibly can be (without songs he wouldn’t give the time of day in another world) with a single or two and maybe something like a gig vinyl or DVD bridging the gaps.
Maybe some time could be spent perfecting the songs they struggle with in rehearsal, Stay Young and others.
Autumn 2021, after the Knebworth anniversary, is soon enough for the trilogy to be completed.

And I hope he knows he hit it out of the park with it, no sophomore slump for R Kid!

People on twitter actually think we're getting a reunion.

Do tell of these 'others' It's about time he played "Stay young", we were already expecting it on the previous tour. Would be good to hear it, probably as demanding for him vocally as Listen Up which has sounded alright. Up in the sky I have high hopes for because he never did the high notes live often and it sounded fine without them 👍

Glad to see Liam is on fire and is keen on making new music I remember in an old interview Liam said how he hated waiting so long between each Oasis album. I guess now that he's solo, he can just create and release at his own free will. Would be great if we got a third this year.

I hear what you are saying but a lot of people on this forum thought he rushed this current album to release. I’m not one of them but I can see their points. It’s a tall task for any Gallagher to work that fast and prolific.

Up in the sky would be a nice surprise.
With how his voice is now, I think he can sing any Oasis tune he wants - but in a 'controlled studio type environment'. Live is always a different matter, but singing a bit more softly as he does in the studio means he can probably give any song a decent go now.

No sorry, I don’t get to hear anything about what the label would consider successful and Liam’s units of measure are how up for it the crowd are at gigs. As far as the label are concerned, is enough ever enough? We’ll see another exciting push in a few weeks. To answer your thoughts on the chart thread, yeah I can see WM?WN. hitting 200k later in the year.
