Maybe it's the song for Peaky Blinders he has mentioned?

I would love a standalone single! Getting a new song so quickly would be amazing!

A Christmas single maybe? He said this back in January “I’ve been in and out of the studio all year and it’s been sounding really good. I would love to do a Christmas single. I may have to go and speak to my army of songwriters to get one cooked up for next year."

You seriously don’t hear a Lennon influence on the album!?! X I didn't say that. I don't hear "Cold Turkey" Lennon. Maybe on Why Me Why Not the song. They remind me of that style of guitar crunch. That is a very heavy Lennon song. I don’t know how to tell you this, but that’s cold turkey left right and centre.

It's concept album time baby Hopefully he has a break and doesn't rush straight back. I'm sure he's got songs ready for any future stuff but it'll be interesting what direction he chooses.

He absolutely should work on album 3 now and get it out. No point waiting 2 years. He’s 47 years old and well, you only live once! This is your come back now or never

More pop ballads please. I don't want Eyeball Tickler Liam shouting for a whole album. Maybe in 20 years when he cant sing. Right now, it would be a waste of his voice.

Didn't he said he was going to take some time to rest? Like 3 years or some? I honestly hope that we have a single and a b-side at the end of the year and that's it until 2021. I mean, I'd love to have a new record as soon as posible but I prefer that he takes some time to decide the direction. I don't want the next album to be more of the same. 3rd album ALWAYS have to be a change in the creative direction

If Noel is to be believed (and this is a very big if, I'm not sure I believe it myself), Liam is responsible for the Oasis sound stagnating in the noughties. In any case it's pretty clear to me that Liam is not going to abandon the 60s British invasion throwback sound ever.

I mean, one thing is the sound of his voice and his signature signing style which is never going to change and I'm more than happy with it. But the overall content in the record will be different. If it depended on him he would be releasing the same album every 2 years. But he is in good hands,we have to remember that his team has to work with something that gives the money back. A release under his name will sell, yes. But a release with quality songwriting and a step further in his career will sell even more. Otherwise it all will go just the same. And honestly I'm a bit tired of WMWN at this point. That's what happens when you do simple songs with a classic direction. The only diference between WMWN and AYW is that the production is focused on sounding modern. Nothing more, nothing less.

They want what sells, so my prediction is that album 3 will be basically the same thing again.

Iirc I read somewhere that he wanted to do a record with Liam Howlett. And he wanted to do a record with DiV in noughties so I dont think that he always wants to do the same thing. You can tell that even with his 2 solo albums. AYW is different from BE. WMWN is poppier than AYW. That wasnt really big change but still. Now he had 2 successful albums, made some money, established himself as solo artist. He will be more open for change next time around I think. Noel started to change his sound after 2 successful album cycles, before that he didn't take big risks. Liam won't change his genres but Rock, Pop, Pop/Rock are pretty big fields. you can do a lot of things there. Btw I like WMWN very much and Im not sure that punk album will be good, but it will be interesting to listen to that.
