Vocals sound flat and tired to me; very similar to BE, which, ironically, was being discussed before the clip was posted. Thought exactly the same. Could have been on BE.
But just because it's being recorded, doesn't mean it's going to be a main track. Might just be a bonus, which makes the early tease make a little more sense.
Please calm down... this is a track kn the process. Might not even be the last vocal take. Unmixed, unmastered, recorded with a cell phone. There is no polish on the vox like on an finished track. |

First of all, your speculation is no better or worse than my speculation or frankly any other speculation here. We have little to go on and likely will for some time. I see no good reason why people shouldn't be able to judge his voice or the snippet of the song we have heard so far.
Second, it's an odd response because, well, I was calm when I wrote it. Go figure.
Thirdly, people here clearly do think he sounds like BE in the clip, so does it really matter if you don't? Are they wrong simply because you feel differently? Are you wrong simply because we feel differently? I don't think so. You think what you think, I think what I think and here we are discussing it. Seems like we are keeping up with the status quo of a discussion forum.
P.S. I was a pretty big BE fan too.

I personally don't think that you can tell with just a little clip of a song and I would sooner wait until we actually hear the full song before judging anything.

What else are we going to do during the wait? Just ignore all the snippets and news items of info we get? I prefer to talk about what is happening now while we can and reserve all opinions as subject to change as we receive new material. Opinions aren't set in stone after all. |

I don’t think that there is realistic possibility that Liam will release 2 albums in 1 year. He is not Taylor Swift, he can’t just drop albums and disappear, he needs to promote them. I don’t think he can do 2 promo cycles in 1 year.
Realistically I hope they choose the best songs for the new album. And maybe little EP later? Or super deluxe album with 20 songs? I don’t have much hope for b sides, I don’t know a lot about the music industry but who releases b-sides with singles nowadays? I mean real b-sides, not remixes or acoustic versions.
