Ahaha he looks shit scared. He’s probably remembering that time he ended up crowd surfing in the U.S a few years back where he said he was sore for ages afterwards

How do we know that Better Days will be poppy when we haven't even heard it or even a snipet of the song? If it's full of sunshine like Liam says then it could be something different. I don't know that it is, I was just thinking about it, from the song title.

Totally agree.. it's sunny during winter...fuck me this forum gets beyond a joke sometimes with the beyond precious comments 😄..let's maybe hear something first. Exactly. The thing is nobody can judge a song when we haven't even heard it yet. So let's just wait until we have before we judge it.

Expecting an acoustic with soft electric guitars kinda track. Not a ballad but not a rock n roll song either.
Something like Angel by robbie williams

I will let you know if we ever come back to LA. Hike and sushi… i’m in ! 😁 The kid is the next alex honold really, we did small rollercoasters last week, some kids were literally crying and he was uninmpressed 😂 even I was more scared than him on some rides. Expecting him to climb El Capitan in 15 mins someday. Proud Dad here! Anyway thanx for being so light about it all of course most of my comments are tongue in the cheek. Ive learnt english with the Gallaghers and that’s all they did all day long in interviews! Weird that some of their fans are so different. Maybe the fact that its all written only doesnt help. For the record i did give 7 or 8 to Liam’s last record. Its not what i was expecting him to become though. Just wished he would rely less on his past glory and noel’s material. A couple of tunes (even 4!) in setlists would be fine. He has a lot of good material to play, he just need to get it in people’s head. But its harder… As for the new record i’m hoping for six Liam 100% written tracks. That would be a good ratio. When you come to LA, we'll hike, have sushi and after the kid goes to bed, we'll talk Liam, who he is and who he can be, and I'll set you straight ... What does your wife think of him, if I can ask? (Seriously, I think a 7 or 8 is pretty fair for WMWN -- it's a solid album with a few lasting songs, and Liam's voice will always do me but there's plenty of room to go higher, which we can hope for. Pretty iffy on you getting six 100% Liam tracks this time, though. Most likely he'll be co-credited on all or most and it will be left to we the jury to decide which are mainly him and which aren't.) Love that you learned English from the Gallaghers -- there is a great comedy sketch somewhere in that! Get your kid to a climbing gym if you have one nearby. It's a great place to channel fearless boy energy.

She didn't enjoy the first one and didn't listen to the follow up He's not the kind of character she likes anyway. I suppose... My english is a mix of Gallaghers (main source), Seinfeld, Friends, Jarvis Cocker, Damon Albarn and Graham coxon, The Beatles, and Billy Corgan. What a mix I've understood the Mancunian accent better than the Queen's english for years because of the Gallaghers I have no proof to back up my claim, but it looks like Liam has fallen into the category of artists where songwriting credits are added to make them sound credible when they actually didn't write anything ( see here) that is why i wish he was more explicit about the process, talking about bits he wrote and what he didn't. I still hope i'm wrong though, but WMYN seemed to be only that. Weird that he's credited on all songs. That's what i like about the first one, it was more or less honest, except maybe for "for what it's worth" where clearly he didn't write shit. But it couldn't be a lead single without his name on it. There's not enough transparency, we will see with the new one.

Nah, it's obvious trolling that this certain user does. Don't agree, it was pretty funny (though you might need to be American, IDK) I'm always happy when a post makes me laugh. Anyway, it's a friendly troll as trolls go (He comes here for a reason and it isn't hate.) A few thorns in the side give you something to think about. For me, this forum stands out because it's not just a stan fest, and there are such forums for Oasis and also Liam's twitter. It's nice to have somewhere people can talk honestly, and about the nitty-gritty (the marketing, the art, the future, that kind of stuff) so would be sad to lose that. But for those who just want to stan, which is fine, just don’t read his posts if they are harshing your mellow as we used to say in the 90s. Not liking the trolling has nothing to do with just wanting to stan.

Many people are critical of Liam’s work and they say so, none them are driven to try disrupt this section of the forum for their own entertainment, it’s embarrassing. Take All Your Dreaming Of/Shazam, an attempted troll that backfired spectacularly and made him very angry 😂 Feel free to indulge Andy, I’m not sure any others will.

Well as i said back then i can't prove it, but that performance still is very fishy. If you think i am angry in any way about it all, you are sadly mistaken Tomlivesindenver. Dont twist my word, i can admit when i'm wrong, but you won't ever admit Liam gallagher is probably half a fraud nowadays. That would shake your whole world. the angry one is probably not the one writing those lines. + Bomb was there around last year and saw it all. So your argument doesn't work. It's not THAT important, but Liam's solo career raises eyebrows, so there is something to discuss. Not the majority, but still some, here and elsewhere. admit it you would miss me if i wasn't there, you love the tension between us.

You’re a bloke with a wife and kid who uses some of his free time to try and wind up fans of a singer you don’t like. That’s sad, the absolute definition of it.

Feel free to indulge Andy, I’m not sure any others will. I don't think I'm "indulging" him. Just treating him like any other human being as I haven't seen any reason not to. If I disagree with him, or think he's said something cuckoo, I tell him so. (I have several times, even in my short time here.) If I find him funny and charming at times, well, those things can co-exist in my world. Someone can be a good person and also hold an opposite view to mine (or even one that infuriates me. God knows Liam and Noel probably do!). If he was harming people, I am sure the good folks who run this forum would have banned him. But from what I can tell he doesn't actually do anything that offensive except take the contrary view and sometimes act as a provocateur. Imagine that from a one-time Gallaghers fan.

I sure hope that Liam's new album doesn't have any songs on it which sound like Angels because I absolutely hate that song.
