Well I like the cover tbh. Could be executed better design wise of course but it’s definitely not tacky or ugly and more interesting than the cover of WMWN

Given the last couple of years and Liam’s boredom threshold I’d find it unbelievable that he hasn’t been working on quite a lot of stuff. |

My point was that the album should be his main focus, he needs an album for touring and if his main focus is touring than the album will be rushed, it will be more of the same Because you don’t like something doesn’t make it rushed. Given the last couple of years and Liam’s boredom threshold I’d find it unbelievable that he hasn’t been working on quite a lot of stuff. I didn't said I won't like it (how could I? We haven't heard anything). I've said that I'd rather have a personal, inspired album than an rushed album that he will use for touring. But maybe that's just me, I'm here for liam's career and for his music , I'm not looking for an oasis tribute band. |

I like the artwork but the title feels weird when saying it. But if the songs are there the title is not important.

He's not spoken of this album in very personal terms (so far), so I guess we'll see how much input he seems to have had in the songwriting. He's said in interviews he made a conscious decision with WMWN to turn over more of the songwriting but whether he keeps in that direction, I don't think we know yet. In music of course quality often isn't pegged to timing at all -- hence why Noel could write Supersonic in the time it took to eat a meal and yet some less beloved songs are years in the making. So it's not so much I think whether the album is rushed as whether it is, in your well-chosen word, inspired. Because inspiration can come in a second or you can wait years and years for it, but it's not something even pros can guarantee ... but for now, all we can do is hope it's there. |

This is the "problem" It's the easy way, he's the closest thing to oasis right now and this is helping his career but he's kinda of an oasis cover band Would he play at Knebworth if he didn't play oasis songs? And why playing at Knebworth? His career is based on the nostalgia of the oasis and there is nothing wrong with it but if you want to be an artist, if you have something to say, you have to make something different |
