Do you feel that WMWN was rushed? Certainly sounded rushed! It sounded more polished than AYW, the songwriting was more sophisticated (probably because there was less Liam songs) and the musical palette was expanded. I get it if people don’t like it but when they don’t the go to criticism seems to be ‘It sounds rushed’. An album can also be recorded quickly and not be rushed. |

I think he's very happy with that label. This is the "problem" It's the easy way, he's the closest thing to oasis right now and this is helping his career but he's kinda of an oasis cover band Would he play at Knebworth if he didn't play oasis songs? And why playing at Knebworth? His career is based on the nostalgia of the oasis and there is nothing wrong with it but if you want to be an artist, if you have something to say, you have to make something different How many people who go solo from a huge band could play a gig of that size with only there own tunes? Not many I’d argue. I don’t see that as an issue. Liam as Noel points out is the one keeping that flame alive. The fact that even a few of his songs sit relatively comfortably alongside Oasis ones in a set is an achievement in itself. |

Probably I still love it but it doesn't sound very inspired, much less input from liam in comparison to ayw I'd like something more personal this time, he shouldn't choose the easy way, he should pick his guitar and write something He could try something new, why not? He always talks about the punk album, why not? He needs to be an artist, otherwise he will be seen exclusively as the oasis singer He has already explained why he's not keen on doing a punk album anymore. And he has said the new songs are different. So why worry so much before hearing anything? |

Hi Tom, his discography proves otherwise, he has great tunes in him, he's written some great tunes that i enjoy regularly. Sometimes underachievers needs that professor who will believe in him and propel that "bad" student to his full potential. He's chosen the daddy will take care of it way, that's ok too i guess. Sometimes people don't know what they are capable of. |

I like the concept of the cover but the execution is a bit amateur-looking. Don't like the font, and Liam is a bit lost in the crowd, which I suppose is the point, but I think it would have been better to have your eye more drawn to him. It reminded me of this fan-art for a Kanye album, but I think this pops even better:  |

We all know that he's not a prolific songwriter but one thing is not being a prolific songwriter one other thing is laziness I'm not asking an album full of liam penned tunes but an album with lots of his inputs I think a good recent example is Richard Ashcroft, a songwriter of undeniable talent who’s written some absolute belters and yet for a decade now has struggled to produce barely anything of quality. He’s never seemed lazy it’s just not easy to knock out excellent tunes with regularity. This is what makes your and Andy’s expectation of Liam so odd. Saying he’s lazy is just speculation from you and the thought he can readily produce an album of quality when he hasn’t ever been anything more than a part timer is weird. Is best work has no doubt been on both albums, he’s not going to hang around for 8 years just so he can get an album out fully written by him and who could blame him. |
