I think he will. He likes to stick to very basic (and quite bland IMO) album titles. Whether it'll be the name of a song i dont know. I personally thought As You Were was a great title. Short and to the point - it says Liam is back, like nothing has changed. Also structured like 'Be Here Now' which we know is Liams favourite Oasis album. I wasn't quite as fond of WMWN as a title, but it does function as a response to people who'd been surprised at his comeback success. Either way, I'm both happy and surprised by his consistency in releasing new music

Personally I think he needs to change it up for the 3rd album.
I'm sure I'm in the minority but I struggle badly to get through WMWN.
More songs like Invisible Sun, Doesn't Have To Be That Way etc.
You don't have to put out songs like For What It's Worth, Now That I've Found You etc.
It's not you.

Also its unclear who its about (Nicole, Noel, former bandmates etc), and a ballad for the sake of being a ballad. Lyrically One of Us did it a bit better IMO, as it was clearly a song about Noel, with a bit more energy in it. I didnt have a problem with NTIFY as its clearly something he wanted to say about Molly, and i didnt mind the tune.

Yeah I know, just thought he might of been tweeting some lyrics in relation to something he'd been sent over like he has in the past.

It's interesting because I like the songs you don't want and the ones you like are among my least favorite. However, I completely agree, the approach to Why Me Why Not was almost a carbon copy of As You Were. The two albums were very high quality. However, if album number 3 is like the same formula, even if it is the same quality it will be disappointing. I would love to see a change of pace. His collaborators did a great job but I'd say either go all in with Wyatt or try a different set of collaborators and do something different. I'd like to see at least one song that lasts longer than 4 minutes. It was Champagne Supernova that got me into oasis, let's have one epic longer song that takes you different places. I want more experimental production.

Stuff like Wall of Glass and One of Us should be the template, IMO. Tracks that swagger, but still sound current and with have a good bass-end groove to them. Stuffy rockers like Shockwave and the bland ballads that drag both records down could easily be left behind.

Liam said on radio this morning that he's been writing music for the next album. Songs about love and life, no coronavirus songs.

I've said it many a times but I think he should go without Wyatt and the other fella (forgot his name) and work exclusively with Dan Grech-Marguerat again. Even if Wall of Glass is still my favorite LG tune and the one that made me a fan, I keep coming back to AYW and the tunes that Liam wrote and were produced by DGM.
Or if he must continue working with the hit makers, bring on more stuff like Invisible Sun !

I am aware, my point was that I would rather Liam write his own tunes (if possible at the standard of the ones he wrote solely on AYW) and have Dan as the main producer.
if not for a whole album then the split that was done for AYW would be welcome.

Why? He can write great songs but a full album? I don't think so and I'm sure that if he writes 6 great songs they will be on the album so I don't see your point tbh. I think that he has done a great work with Andrew Wyatt and Simon Aldred for WMWN (the songs with Greg Kurstin are the weakest on the album though).

Different strokes, I prefer the work he did with Dan producing. I'll buy whatever album Liam puts out regardless of who he works, it's just my opinion that the work he did with Dan at the helm was his best stuff.
