I say keep Simon and maybe Kurstin and ship the others with the cookies. Also time for a new drummer Get some fresh blood Your screen name is an Andrew Wyatt song. I'm not against Wyatt at all but I think he needs to make some changes and bring some fresh ideas and I'd Sacrifice Wyatt

Also time for a new drummer Get some fresh blood I'm pretty sure Dan the drummer helped Liam write most of his songs on the first album, sort of like the role Gem had in Oasis. I'd be all for getting a new drummer if Dan took over guitar duties from Jay though.

But to be fair I was a solo Liam fan first then an Oasis fan so I guess the "wrong notes" he plays don't bug me.

always wondered how Liam feels about answering to his own fake accounts or fan pages with 'Liam Gallagher' in their names - just because it's soooo bipolar

Gotta love Liam's passion to keep wanting to do new material. Hopefully he has used the lockdown to do a bit more writing himself or at least got bits and bobs to give to the other writers to develop.

Obviously not what was I wondering. It's been tough for me, but I do understand the mechanics of e-mail. Not the same as banging out songs together in a room, is it? Anyway, we shall see what it is soon enough.

I'm pretty sure Liam has access to a recording/rehearsal studio in England. Presumably that's what's he's been doing lately with his band.

I like them as a live band (I know I'm in the minority) but I don't want it to be an album with him and his live band. This might sound contradictory but I want him to do something completely different but do it with Andrew Wyatt. I think Andrew can take Liam in a different more adventurous direction. I really like the 'aesthetic' and sound of the LG/Wyatt tracks. I'm afraid that an album with his live band would be a bunch of 'I Get By's. I want Andrew Wyatt to do for Liam's 3rd Album what David Holmes did for Noel on his third. I don't mean literally make Liam write songs in the studio but to really push him out of his comfort zone. Based on Andrew Wyatt's resume, he doesn't just follow one path.

Dave Sitek, James Lavelle, Chris Potter...would be nice to hear different takes on each song. Or at least get some remixes. I think it would be good for Liam to record the album live tbh. We can all hear the difference between the studio tracks and when they're performed live.

I'm pretty sure I also get that Liam has access to a recording studio in England and amazingly, I even kind of understood the tweet that I posted where he said he had been recording this week (and also that he had written songs.) Point still missed. The point is that on previous albums he worked with Kurstin and Wyatt in person (a somewhat different collaborative process if you have ever written a song or made an album) and seemingly quite liked how that worked out. Is he working with them remotely now, or is he working with writers in England (like say, Simon Aldred, or others he hasn't worked with before) who are able to work with him in person? Both seem possible. Personally, I dunno. Do you?

I wanna hear him fronting a track by either the Black Keys, some kinda dirty aggressive blues, or Tame Impala. Or Amorphous Androgynous!! 🤪
The Oasis-lite tracks aren’t as good as actual Oasis tracks to me so I don’t care if we don’t have any more of that stuff on album 3
Liam’s a big enough name where he could collaborate with someone doing something more interesting sounding than some of the filler on the first couple of albums. Imagine some tracks that sound like Shoot Down or Scorpio Rising! That would be SICK

I guess money wise it would be too hard to pull off (maybe), but imagine tracks with BRMC, UNKLE, Ashcroft...

I guess money wise it would be too hard to pull off (maybe), but imagine tracks with BRMC, UNKLE, Ashcroft... EXACTLY!!!!! That idea excites me WAY more than a bunch of written-to-order radio-friendly bland ‘make it sound like Oasis!’ tracks written by pop producers. The best voice of this generation singing some of the stuff he’s been singing in his solo career seems almost criminal to me (although the stuff I like, I REALLY like, so I’m not saying this to imply that I think it’s all bad - just disappointing sometimes)

I'm also in favor of him working with some new people UNLESS he kicks it up a notch with the same guys. I wonder if they have another gear they can hit
