I thought Liam did all of his recording with Greg and Andrew in LA? Demos or hopefully bringing on a different producer? Granted there's nothing keeping either Greg or Andrew from traveling to the UK LOL.

I was making a playlist of upbeat, feel-good tunes today (your Adventure of a Lifetime's, your Paul Simon's You Can Call Me Al's), and I was surprised when I scanned through Liam's albums that there wasn't really a tune that fit into it. Even the more upbeat tunes like Wall of Glass or One of Us have an edge of bitterness or melancholy to them. I think for his third album it'd be good to just have a properly positive, happy, euphoric rocker from him.

Glimmer is one of my favourites. There’s something about Glimmer that reminds me of Valerie. Anyone else pick up on that?

Even the more upbeat tunes like Wall of Glass or One of Us have an edge of bitterness or melancholy to them. That’s a songwriting sweet spot! Not too much bitterness of course and not too melancholy but just enough of both with a pinch of yearning and you have a classic Oasis b-side.

Aye, I like both those tunes, but I'd still like more totally upbeat rock songs from Liam. Something like Whatever or Roll With it, maybe even a Columbia/Be Here Now style little rock boogie.

On twitter (potentially drunk) Liam said the other day he wants his new album to sound like Harry Nilsson's cover of Subterranean Homesick Blues. I think it would be a pretty cool sound for Liam.

Hope they get it out by summer 2021. I wonder if Liam really will stick to Come On You Know as its title?

Whether it'll be the name of a song i dont know. I personally thought As You Were was a great title. Short and to the point - it says Liam is back, like nothing has changed. Also structured like 'Be Here Now' which we know is Liams favourite Oasis album. I wasn't quite as fond of WMWN as a title, but it does function as a response to people who'd been surprised at his comeback success.
