Hope he works with Simon Aldred more. WMWN,Now That I Found You and Misunderstood three of the best songs on the album. Some good tunes with Andrew Wyatt too, Once, One of Us and Invisisble Sun. Songs involving Greg Kurstin, Shockwave, Halo, Be Still and Meadow I find the weakest generally so I'd be happy to see Liam swerve him next time round. I agree about his WMWN tunes (possibly excluding Halo), but the Kurstin-produced stuff on AYW included 3 of my 4 favourites on that album (Wall of Glass, Come Back To Me and Doesnt Have To Be That Way). So Id maybe be willing to give him another try. After all, I loved many of Wyatt’s tracks on WMWN after not rating Chinatown. DHTBTW is good, not such a fan of the other two. WoG has energy to be sure but as a song I find it pretty bland. What I'd really love to see is some longer groove based tracks, like Columbia. Invisible Sun has a bit of that going on. He needs to break out from the three minute pop song structure or it's just going to sound very samey.

Ye a longer epic song (a la Columbia, Champagne Supernova, All Around The World) would be good, he hasnt really done one as a solo artist. I personally felt Once could have been a 5 or 6 minute ballad with another verse/bridge etc., but ultimately it wasnt.

It’s gonna be a push, but if timing and all the other factors work out we’ll have this album around the same time as Glastonbury Headline 2021. Some songs are already written, first demos early this summer.

I don't care who writes the songs as long as they're as good as bold, once, wmwn etc

Liam mentioned it a few times, most notably in the Interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music

I’ll give it a listen.

What about ‘The World’s In Need’ song that he Tweeted about?

Does Liam have a certain number of albums on his deal with Warner? If so then just following the same formula makes sense, Liam seems to hate not doing anything stuck at home and he has a great relationship with his writers, who are prolific and will always have material.

Well I remember when he first signed, he stressed it wasn't a 'solo career' and that AYW was just songs he'd written that he wanted to put out. That suggests the initial deal was only for that album. Whether he signed a longer deal post-AYW I'm not sure, but considering how Liam never liked the contractual/business side, my guess would be a sort of 'rolling' contract, where they sign for one album at a time. But yes , he seems to enjoy working with Kurstin, Wyatt and Aldred. The latter two featured more on WMWN than AYW, and Kurstin about the same as before. Unlike some fans id be happy for them to produce/co-write again, although I would be open to some tracks being with other producers as well.

I wonder how much money Warner would (has?) offer Noel for a track
I can’t believe it hadn’t crossed their minds...

I always thought Liam has a three-records deal, that's why he said that he will finish his solo career in 2021 and has same formula for AYW and WMWN
