It would be an absolute piece of piss for Noel to play Cigs & Alcohol or Acquiesce if he really wanted to... given he’s been solo for nearly a decade now, maybe he’s perfectly happy with his setlists and their reactions? X He could play them sure, they'd be shite but he could. Even Noel understands that himself which is exactly why he hasn't. Its naive to think otherwise. He's happy with his setlists, he picks them and he picks the songs that he likes and suit him best. You and a few of the hardcore pessimists on here might find it shite, but the casual fans and Tesco mums who make up the majority of his crowd would have no problems I’m sure. X

I'm not surprised when most Liam fanboys can't get into Noel's recent stuff because I can tell what kind of music these people listen to and how limited their music taste is

I think he said that Dave Grohl should come on stage and suck his di*k. That's a bit messed up if you ask me. Very childish for a 52 year old You'd be shocked if you were around in the '90s.

There we go again. Lovely.
I love both Noel and Liam's solo stuff. I love all different kinds of music too. Does it make that I have a limited music taste? Can't be bothered really. I know what I love and I don't need to convince others to have the same music taste as I do.

The poem that fella wrote certainly has meaning, but to me, Noel’s lyrics are empty. The verses don’t mean anything, and the chorus is generic and shallow. We’re talking here about a man whose best songs include verses with meaningful lines like “she done it with a doctor, on a helicopter” and deep choruses such as “give me gin and tonic.” X I’m well aware. It worked when they were young and foolish, not so much now when they’re adults and capable of self-reflection. Just wish he’d try harder in that regard.

Why is no-one talking about the ridiculous (expensive I'm sure) necklace outside of the t-shirt thing going on?
That's worse than his recent music, which takes some doing granted.

His new stuffs far superior to who built the moon , play them loud they sound fantastic ..but to think Noel will never play the cigs n alc riff or acquiesce riff ever again is quite frankly madness ..ofcourse he misses that , you can tell at some gigs , it’s funny how russ always goes mad when playing the new stuff , like overly enthusiastic to prove they all love it .. We must've watched different gigs

Nah, the turtleneck is good stuff (the black one, anyway). The necklace. Yeh, not good.

His new music is painfully, turn-over-the-radio levels of bad. He's also starting to look like Churchill the nodding dog and Guigsy won't return his calls.

More than half of the people who voted went for 9/10 or 10/10 for a song that is half-decent to begin with and that alone tells you everything you need to know. I don't want to begin with the other 3 songs ratings. This is not only based on this forum, but also on other social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.

The seeds of Noel's "cosmic pop" were first planted by Falling Down off Dig Out Your Soul, and then later with AKA What A Life! Falling Down would have sounded perfect on the Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds LP, and over time he kept going and we got Black Star Dancing...well actually I don't get Black Star Dancing or This Is the Place...I actually like Who Built the Moon? but not this much.

Noel’s rebellion against the fan base reminds me of a teenager against his mam. Just a phase. Noël has at least I'm guessing $20 million dollars, prob alot more.....$50 million. He made his money when musicians were obnoxiously overpaid. And, I think he's sick of his family being harassed by Oasís fans......if anything, he's sick of his family whining to him. I think it's funny how he winds up the Oasís fanbase, I admire that....it's punk rock. Thanks.

YOU can tell can you..l.m.a.o. Sit down and let the big people talk. I like the output from both brothers and find your comment hilarious. Maybe I have 50 percent limited taste in music then do I?
