Let's be honest here: 99% of the users wouldn't care about the tune if they didn't know that it's from Noel. 4/10. Better than expected. Solid base for a remix. Spot on If this was some unknown artist in soundcloud, most here wouldn’t give it a second listen Show me a soundcloud song as good as this song.

It's going to be this way for a long time, I fear. Half the people think it's "meh" and half think it's awesome.

I'm very far from Noel's music, I don't like Noel's dance shit, WBTM and gave 5/10 to all songs from 1st EP... but this thing made me think. Doubt that I'll listen to it very much, but I kinda like it. It's bigger than everything from 1st EP, and I like the melody which is... rich? Anyway, I noticed some changes from earlier releases, Noel really changed something makin' this at least interesting to listen to - maybe I can say it's about groove, melody yeah. Madchester feelings probably? Now it's 6/10, it's nowhere from best guitar songs even from solo albums but this one is... attractive

I like it better than Black Star Dancing. But it's another number like In The Heat of the Moment to me. It's single material but not his best song.
Did anyone notice he took the bass line from Blue Monday by New Order for the chorus?

Also, it sounds a lot like another song that I just can't put my finger on. I went with 8. I dig it. I've gone 6.5-8 for all of the recent LG and NG songs and I view this as the best of the lot. I just really really dig this type of dancey vibe. It's got a real beat and a real structure, but it plays loose within that and is definitely familiar.

It's not a bad tune. Kinda like it actually, but after Rattling Rose and Sail On, can't help but feel a bit underwhelmed. It's still better than the debacle that Black Star Dancing was, that for me, will always be the worst track from this EP era, unless something dramatic happens.
6.5/10.

A comfortable yet generous 6 on first listen.
Bland. Goes nowhere. And you’re right, wouldn’t give a shit about this if it weren’t for NG, and I barely even give a shit about it now.

8 from me. Like it a lot. It's getting hurt on my floor speakers at home when I get in. Neighbors beware. Looking forward to clocking off in a bit so I can do the same. X

It's ok but I'm having trouble liking Noel's voice these days, especially in songs like this that don't suit him too well. The instrumentation and overall sound is cool, but I can't digest his voice.

First reaction: Best Gallagher song of 2019. Incredible production, layered and ambitious, catchy melody, could start a disco in a mortuary. Really, really love it.

Yep, his voice doesn't suit this type of music in my opinion. I would actually prefer one of the girls in his band giving this one a go.

This stuff isn't for me. I guess I can appreciate he's trying to do "different things" but he's just stopped doing the things that made him a genius songwriter. And other people do dance music better. It's a 4/10, and I can't say I expect to listen to it again.

Not a fan of these EPs. Although I’m glad he had the forethought to not puts these songs as a fully collective album.

For people who love electronica, this is a wet dream, but I fear Noel is starting to prioritize ambience and groove over strong melodies/hooks.
Personally, I'm too fat and old to care about music I'll never dance to..

God damn it my ears hurt. This is the nail in the coffin for Noel and Sara's career. Terrible

4/10 out of respect for the man and his craft but for me this isn't the place and if it is the place then I'm never coming back to this place. Feels like I've heard it before and it's another bland "Dad at the Disco" generic track.

I think I'm having the emotional reaction to this that some others had when they first heard Once. I cannot get over how beautiful this is. It's colourful, bold, energetic, layered, atmospheric. I absolutely fucking love it. I'm much closer to this opinion. I'll never really get it when people say songs like this and Holy Mountain don't have strong melodies. They're popping and overflowing with melodies (at points, maybe too many melodies and hooks layered within the overall groove). Anyways, like Holy Mountain, I feel as though most people are missing the boat on how much Noel is doing here. But fair enough, I love it.

This reminds me of when I heard Holy Mountain and found it was one of my favourite Gallagher songs ever, and then came on here to see pages of people calling it unlistenable drivel. For Noel Gallagher in 2019, this is a straight 10/10 for me. It sounds vital, alive, massive, colourful, mysterious, and emotional. I couldn't possibly ask for more.

3/10
Menacing bass line, decent verses, obvious scraps from Who Built The Moon. Decent B-side material, nothing more nothing less. Would be interesting to hear Liam have a go at the vocals, he needs a menacing backing track like this.

Is that Ysee doing the choral chanting in the "This is the place!" sections? It's beautiful.
