Whatever year it is, Girl With X-Ray Eyes is shite. Whats it got to do with Chasing Yesterday? Girl With X-Ray Eyes? Well, it's on it. Rattling Rose however has nothing to do with it, but I think it will fit the album, and I'm a fucking genius, so on it goes.

Interview recap:
- Rattling Rose was the starting point for the new EP and supporting sessions - Rattling Rose was recorded many many times "sounds like a 70s cop feel" - Hearing Bowie's "Fashion" was the inspiration for Black Star Dancing, written in studio like "Supersonic" - Sarah is hot under the collar for Pep - Sail On is a folky, psychedelic tune - Writing more and more on the bass - Noel still doesn't listen to modern music he claims, only the Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard from Wales, jungle and the left blank (come on Noel, you've been saying that since 1998)

Done a cover of this one as well. Lovely little tune. Much better than Black Star Dancing. Nicely done cover. Top shelf stuff. What I'm mostly happy about is that you are taking your hair care seriously. Two in one shampoo is the way to go to keep your hair fresh and dandruff free. We will work on your TV situation later. 50 inch or bust bro! Haha thanks man, appreciate it! Glad you approve of the shampoo choice, always got to be 2 in 1.

Another dud for me, 2nd in a row. Very curious as to how the Smashing Pumpkins crowds are going to take to this new material. My guess is not good.

Lovely little tune. Better than the demo: One of Noel's favourite tunes that IIRC - he played it a few times back in 2015/16 on radio gigs. Knew he'd manage to worm it in somewhere eventually.

Few things are as dangerous as an angry Pumpkins fan. Pray you never meet one. But seriously fuck all that noise. Both fan groups are going to these shows to hear the hits. Pumpkins no different. Billy hasn’t been writing a lot of bangers over the years either.

His solo cycle has reached the SOTSOG - HC era of creative blandness. Really? I don't hear it. I hear some innovative/creative ideas. Most of that stuff lacked any creative energy.

Solid replacement for Lock All the Dadrock on Chasing Yesterday. How can Lock All The Doors be considered Dadrock when it was written before the release of Definitely Maybe?

my biggest criticism when it comes to WBTM and these new songs is just that they dont reach the potential the song has. They all mostly feel like the startings of songs but just dont come together as complete songs very well. They all have something about them that is ok but the song as a whole is just a let down.
the song here couldve been much better if it had a decent chorus. Noel seems to be going through his beady eye years imo. The songs are ok but the soul is missing.

Both his new tracks piss allover who built the moon, apart from a few tracks that album is the poorest Gallagher album in history ..he’s better producing stuff himself

Solid replacement for Lock All the Dadrock on Chasing Yesterday. How can Lock All The Doors be considered Dadrock when it was written before the release of Definitely Maybe? Because it was recorded by a middle-aged man who hadn't made a genuinely rocking song in over a decade. The song-writing of the track is fine, it just needed to be recorded by the five young lads who first played it.

This one reminds me of that Paul Cipriani song from his last all boom , Back in Somalia. Bossa nova written by an old white english man.

Because I consider Lyla, Eyeball Tickler, Shock Of The Lightning, and Waiting For The Rapture to all be "rocking songs". To name but a few, and he wrote three of those and played on the other.

I do, and the only one of those that rocks to me is The Shock of the Lightning, and that is still held back by the production. Lyla is one of the least rock and roll Oasis singles to me - no energy or passion, just an Anthem (TM) put together because the album needed more singles.

Solid replacement for Lock All the Dadrock on Chasing Yesterday. How can Lock All The Doors be considered Dadrock when it was written before the release of Definitely Maybe? A track far beyond its expiration date and from a different era that wasn't compatible to Noel's solo sounds. If released proper in '93-94, completely different story. No different than Richard digging up "Birds Fly" from twenty odd years ago for his latest album. Then again, Richard hasn't bothered updating his sound in twenty years.

The tune's best by date had been exceeded, Noel in his mid 40s couldn't do it justice no matter how much modern production he placed on it.
