I wish I cared about anything as much as some you care about Oasis/Noël/Líam things.....
Oasis reminds me of my childhood, I love that; haven't been relevant for 20 years; this place fascinates me....
Thanks.

I don't watch sci-fi dork movies.....I get it, they tell a story, don't care. But, for instance, I look forward to Quenitn Tranantino's new movie with Leonardo DiCapriö and Brad Pitt.... God bless.

This is the only place on the internet where I have any footing besides watching a little bit of porn; I feel like some people here are heavily invested all over the web in places like area rugs or something.... God bless.

I take obnoxiously long showers, in my opinion, anyway.....I'm in there for about twenty minutes, and I'm doing stuff the whole time; I'm not spacing out in the shower about being afraid to leave the house or whatever. Do you have any tips on how I can cut down on my shower time? Maybe we can shower together, you wash my back, I wash your back kinda thing.... Thanks.

I think it's hilarious..... I'm about to leave the house, going to McDonalds's, gross. Thanks.

I got an Egg McMufin from McDonald's....a little ketchup, gross. I want one of those showers with like 15 shower heads.....that would probably help cut down on my shower time; I would start out my shower with the 15 heads running, then do the overhead waterfall setting while I'm shampooing, then turn up the pressure while rinsing, apply conditioner; turn down pressure while bathing the rest of my body, then turn all the shower heads on while washing out the hair conditioner and body wash....turn down again while applying facial wash.... I do have a water filter on my one showerhead, though, which is nice.... Thanks.

Interview excerpt: Noel: The album (Who Built The Moon) was finished, it was coming out, but it was an interesting position to be in (the mixed reaction to Holy Mountain). There was the acoustic track, Dead In The Water, and after [Chasing Yesterday] came out someone said, "You've got to do an acoustic record." I've never done an acoustic record, so I booked a studio for two weeks, and I'm sitting there with an acoustic, the one I wrote Wonderwall on, with fans all over the world saying, "This is what you should be doing." The management are saying, "That's a great song, it makes me cry." Then I thought, I'm not doing this for me, I'm doing it for other people. I want to get back to the [David Holmes] record, I want a drum machine from the '70s to put through an amplifier; I want to play bass... So I scrapped that acoustic session on the second day. The engineer said, "Is that it?" "Yeah." "We haven't done anything." "I know"... The only reason Dead In The Water was captured was because I didn't know it was being recorded. I won't ever re-record it, because I don't believe in it any more. David said, "You're the best f**king person in the world at doing that stuff, but you've already done it." He was right. Wow, "stop doing what you are best at" advice. I don't know about others on the forum, but that would not be the best career advice. Ah well, Noel has enough money.

X I've seen the original Star Wars movies as a kid, I can't get into as an adult, which is ignorant and small-minded on my part, because the stories are great but I can't get into fantasy, which is also ignorant....I don't know, I party, I leave make believe to kids. God bless.

I actually have a theory as to why following sports is massive -- it's a connection to youth, when you most likely got into the sport. In your case, this would be Oasis and Tom Brady. And cats. God bless.

Interview excerpt: With our interview time nearing its end, and his point hammered home, Gallagher switches the subject to what comes next. He is, he says, starting work on a new record with David Holmes in January, while also demoing material at Abbey Road for a High Flying Birds touring-band album, on which he hopes to push its female members - Charlotte Marionneau, backing singer YSEE, [AKA Audrey Gbaguidi] and keyboardist Jessica Greenfield - to the fore. He predicts the latter LP will be finished first. Touring-band album means he actually is recording with the band he play live, right? This is interesting cos I suppose just a few members of the HFB ever got to record songs in the studio... Mike Rowe and Jeremy Stacy if I recall

I didn't think Liam had to pay Noel for playing his songs live. Thought you only have to pay when you release a cover?

Generally, when playing live, the cost of royalties for all songs performed that were written by someone else are covered by the venue. Yes, royalties are meant to paid out for every single show played. It feels a bit archaic, but that's the system. Possibly guigsysEstring could shine some more light on this.

Noels version of how Beady Eye fell apart. That's not really how it went right. They split in 2014 where Liam got his deal in 2016 if I remmember correctly. "do you new stuff". Liam plays plenty of new songs along with the Oasis ones...
MOJO: So there wasn't a pang of envy when Liam did Finsbury Park? Or was it "good luck to him"?
Good luck to him definitely. (Pause) Listen I know the true story of Beady Eye and how it fell apart. He left the band by text! The Prince of Darkness, The Man, he didn't even have the balls to phone his bandmates. Because he got a solo deal, it was, See you later, lads. Then when he got his deal with Live Nation, no one was telling him, "Don't do any Oasis songs, do your new stuff, that's what your good at." He got his thing now - which is effectively my thing - and when he's headlining Finsbury Park I'm sat there watching Match Of The Day getting a PRS cheque for him playing my songs. But instead of making him happy, it's made him worse. It's made him even angrier (laughs).
