I'm not getting overexcited ahead of this release: it might turn out to be just another EP of remixes like last time. It’s too late Derrick I’m already overexcited! X Prepare to be underwhelmed. You've been warned.

I think we all prepare new material but a release is a release.

I really don't get the fascination with DIV The thing that happened with Oasis and them happens more times than I can count to plenty of other artists and plenty of other bands. It's not an Oasis thing. The AA business is a completely different beast entirely. and the two really shouldn't be compared or linked together.

It’s not going to be cancelled. X

I really wanted that to work. Instead we got a samey and safe record from Sardy. I wanted new sounds.

Spell correct altered some of my words on me in previous post. It’s about the dreams and possibilities of a release. That’s what DIV and AA represented. At least to me. Something new, fresh, different. A break from the norm.

They didn't even get that deep with the sessions because they knew pretty quickly that it wasn't going to happen. Which is fair. Sometimes the idea of collaborating with someone sounds great, until it doesn't. I think the problem with DIV isn't the idea that they aborted the sessions, it's the fact that they panicked afterwards. They should have kept with their vision and just found another collaborator who could fulfill that rather than rushing to get to an arbitrary deadline for a tour. But the DIV sessions themselves probably sound like crap.

Very few songs we know of from that time period fit that kind of electronic rock vibe. You’re right I did LOVE the idea. I wish it worked. It didn’t.

Buy it from your local record store. It's not even really cheap on amazon.

Buy it from your local record store. It's not even really cheap on amazon. They don’t sell it. It’s about $32 on amazon. Which is slightly on the higher end of new vinyl.

Dave Sardy? Haha, what a dud, what a coward! Back to impotent middle aged paunchy pub rock for Noel. In the meantime, I’m off out the door! Couldn’t give a flying fuck about this.

So maybe just maybe these are Noel’s current projects....... - Touring Band EP (Record Store Day) - David Holmes Record - Typical Noel Record like the first two birds albums We know Noel recoded and mixed songs back in November. We know he’s currently in the studio. I assumed it was with Holmes but maybe he started his proper sounding birds album first with Sardy?

Maybe hopefully this is not a NGHFB project but a Dave Sardy project for a soundtrack or something
