Why not include both? Apparently they could have included around another 80 mins of outtakes to this set without having to add an extra CD. And Giles Martin is telling the press there was "no room" for the 27 minute Helter Skelter? No need to include both. That one group has nothing to do with the white album. Should have remixed hey Jude or revolution. That makes more sense to me. We already have a remixed Hey Jude from the reissued ‘1’ album from 2015. The Revolution omission is puzzling though - only hinted at how powerful it could be with the shortened version on Love.

I prefer the slower Revolution to the electric one.

Also, have changed my playlist already:
1) Back in the U.S.S.R. 2) Dear Prudence 3) Ob-la-Di Ob-la-Da 4) Glass Onion 5) Wild Honey Pie 6) While My Guitar Gently Weeps 7) Martha My Dear 8) I'm So Tired 9) Happiness is a Warm Gun 10) Blackbird 11) Rocky Racoon 12) Birthday 13) Yer Blues 14) Why Don't We Do it in the Road? 15) I Will 16) Julia 17) Everybody's Got Something to Hide... 18) Sexy Sadie 19) Helter Skelter 20) Revolution 1 21) Hey Jude 22) Cry Baby Cry (Esher Demo) 23) Revolution 9 24) Good Night
Transition from Glass Onion to While My Guitar... wasn't working, so I bunged Wild Honey Pie in there for fun. Also appreciate Rocky Raccoon more than I used to.

They should really combine Abbey Road and Let It Be for next years anniversary. So many AR songs were born out of the LIB sessions. That is where you will find the wealth of great material. It’s in Let It Be, not Abbey Road. Can’t imagine Apple won’t do something like this next fall.

Not White Album related, but I listened to Abbey Road again this morning and it is definitely my favourite Beatles album. Not sure I could think of anything imperfect about it, to be honest.

Not a massive Beatles fan, only like about a dozen of their songs, but great work on this remix. Let It Be (Naked) is my favourite Beatles album, if I had to choose. Too much novelty and humour in their music for my taste, so never taken them that seriously, even if I do appreciate their cultural impact.

Alistair Taylor: ...a bottle of claret for you, if I'd realised. George Martin: Well, do next time. / Alistair: I'd forgotten all about it, George. I'm sorry. Alistair: Will you forgive me? George: Yes. Alistair: Cheeky bitch!
I've always loved this humorous and distinctly English encounter captured on tape and shoved at the start of 'Revolution 9'. Very silly and completely unexplained, somehow it seems to be the perfect opening to the track.

Not sure if you are taking the piss (most likely) or going extremely meta with Oasis/Beatle fandom. Noel often said in the 90s that when growing up his favorites albums were 1962–1966 and 1967-1970.

I want a Let It Be remix. With all the outtakes.87 disc set They gotta combine the Abbey Road/Let It Be sessions. Too much cross over. Kinda like when Radiohead does the Kid A box set. They gotta include Amnesiac as well. Same sessions.

I'm good with that. You really don't mean ALL the outtakes though, do you? Some of those are pretty poor. Maybe I missed the sarcasm

I have the 3 cd version of this on hold at the library....I’m not a big audiophile, I party. The 3 cd version of reissues is what I normally get from bands, including Oasis, and I’ve given the Beatles so much money throughout the years; I’m holding out for spending much more until when human DNA cloning is popularized and we can get John back on stage with Paul where he belongs....
God bless.

Its the album I show people who aren't into the Beatles. Haven't heard a bad word about it yet. Brilliant from start to finish, so many great tunes on it. And I want you is probably my favourite Beatles song.

No. 4 on the UK albums chart.
Behind Muse, Olly Murs, and that motherfucking soundtrack album for that silly Hugh Jackman film. No accounting for taste, eh?

For fucks sake people! In all fairness, it's a pretty slick soundtrack. Also, they just released a Reimagined version of the soundtrack with covers by popular artist... Kesha, Kelly Clarkson, Panic At The Disco, etc. So get used to seeing it up there for a while. That said, I have not purchased the soundtrack. Time Flies: 56, Morning Glory: 70 (currently on a streak of 96 weeks in the top 100 ).

Still, at least Ed Sheehan is no longer in the top 10, with his album which he released near the beginning of last year(!!!).

Defintely an album for Beatles fanatics so I just wonder whether some of them are waiting until they can go all out on the most expensive version? I'm waiting until Christmas to get it personally. But seriously, who the hell is buying Olly Murs albums? I literally don't know who his target audience is supposed to be - whether it be pre-teens or old women ala Eoin McLove from Father Ted.
