www.nme.com/news/music/noel-gallagher-releasing-first-ever-book-2381266The first and only official book from the man responsible for over 70 million albums sales worldwide: Noel Gallagher. This is the behind-the-scenes story of Noel’s biggest ever world tour with his band The High Flying Birds and the making of his critically-acclaimed album ‘Who Built The Moon?’. One of the UK’s most-influential and most-loved artists, Noel has had a momentous year, with his third number one solo album and a 72-date tour across the globe, and this book documents every step of the journey. Through the lens of former official Man City photographer, Sharon Latham, who was granted unprecedented access, this is Noel Gallagher as you’ve never seen him before. Curated by the man himself, the book contains hundreds of unseen, beautiful shots from both on- and off-stage that take the reader right across the USA, Canada, UK & Ireland, Europe, and Southeast Asia, alongside candid interviews and anecdotes from Noel as well as contributions from his band and crew. A must-have book for fans who want to join one of music’s greatest heroes through one of the most memorable moments of his life.

I'd love to join one of music's greatest heroes through one of the most memorable moments of his life. Sadly, this book contains photo's of easily one of the most boring times of his life.

To be fair, if I remember correctly, it was novels Noel said are a waste of time, while he likes to read non-fiction books. But if I was the photographer I'd be a bit miffed that at least Amaon only names Noel as author, when we can assume that all he did was dictate a few tour stories. I was a bit disappointed, because at first I thought he was surprising us with his autobiography!
I will wait until someone buys it and tells us if it's worth having.

"Stories in the book include trips to Ireland, USA and Southeast Asia, as well as candid interviews and anecdotes from the Manchester man."
I hope he has some new stories, he has been telling the same ones in interviews lately...

I'd be surprised if I ever buy that book. For me the WBTM tour is by far the least exciting one he's ever done yet, & the album itself was underwhelming.

My thoughts exactly. By all accounts, this tour has been one of the most joyful (for Noel) in a long time. And based on the gigs I've been to, I'd back it up. Absolutely love the new Noel. Hope the wrinkly dad rocker stays home for a while. Never seen him as up for it as he was at Tramlines. Great crowd, great day and great atmosphere and the entire band and Noel were on top form.

I agree on that, I mean, I saw him live myself a couple of months ago and he was great as usual, but it doesn't seem too interesting to warrant a book.

This is what we get when the tour film turns out to be too boring. That said, I'm still interested in the book.

Really pissed off about this. Only because it doesn't sound that interesting, but I'm obviously going to buy it. FFS, Bonehead's Barber.

I probably won’t buy this, but if he ever comes out with his biography I’ll be first in line. Just not all that interested in stories from just this album cycle.

Same, a bio would be great If Noel ever decides to write his biography, it will contain anything but the truth; in interviews Noel always distorts the facts to make for a more interesting story, so I'm not too keen on seeing that happen. Also, we'd need an abridged version without the relentless name-dropping of his celebrity friends.

What are Paolo’s books like? I’m intrigued to read but also can’t be arsed if it’s not worth it and full of stuff that’s already known

Even though it's ridiculously long title (with brackets!!!) it's also a George Harrison reference:
