I think I'm gonna be sad, I think it's todaaayyyyy-yeah!
Ticket to Ride just randomly came up. Those moments when you haven't listened to a song for like 10 years and realize how amazing it really is.

It’s the nature of time that the old ways must give in It’s the nature of time that the new ways comes in sin When the new meets the old it always ends the ancient ways And as history told the old ways go out in a blaze- Sabaton, Shiroyama

"My blood brother is an immigrant A beautiful immigrant My blood brother's Freddie Mercury A Nigerian mother of three"I think they're as important as Manics ~20 years ago. IDLES are definitely the most potent and relevant band right now. Bands in the traditional sense (in the way Oasis, The Beatles, etc were) aren't nearly as influential as they used to be, but IDLES shows that even this traditional format can be every bit as brilliant as it was in the past. Baffled that they haven't got more mainstream attention. Maybe next album?
