Too soon to say INGUT is one of his best NGHFB tunes? On first listen, best tune on the album alongside Dead To The World and There She Blows

I enjoyed it, but by the end I began to hate the fade-ins and Christmas bells.

I'm not bothered with the leaks. I can wait for a day and listen to it in peace tomorrow after a long week. Already pre-ordered a FLAC version on Qobuz. Good to see positive comments about the album.

Don't Stop is much, MUCH better than the Oasis Demo version But if Liam sung it in 2005 it would have been #1 and loved by everyone…….

Council skies would be better to me if it wasnt way to similair to pretty boy and ballad of the mighty I just ruins it for me. If those songs didnt exist Id probably like it more. But overall, as usual, Great album by a Gallagher

Okay, I'm gonna admit it, I was a bit worried about this records, fearing we would get something that was too much MOR after the last few singles As I've said many times, it's not that I don't rate them as songs themselves, but I think he's capable of working with many more different ideas
Luckily enough the unheard tracks right that ship and make the whole thing a very enjoyable listen It's a bit of a trip, with ups and downs in terms of moods, inspirations and colours but you never get the feeling there's no flow to it all and that's great The downside would be that the production/mixing don't always follow the ideas themselves and end up suffocating some of the tracks, OTD,SWYF and LIARM especially
Now, onto the songs:
I'm not Giving Up Tonight - definitely one of the highlights, he seems to work really well with the soul-inspired vibe at the moment, it's melodically very strong as well It's gonna sound amazing when they do it live
Pretty Boy - my opinion has not changed, it's got some nice elements to it (lovely outro, Johnny's guitar, the piano, the darkish mood), but needs some more variety and goes on for too long
Dead To The World - to me, one of the best things he's ever written. Also one of the better produced tracks due to it being a bit quieter than the rest
Open the Door, See What You Find - might be the worst tune on here alongside Pretty Boy The verses are actually very strong and the orchestra does the job perfectly, but then bridge and chorus turn it into an average DBTT track
Trying To Find A World That's Been And Gone - I liked the demo, this ain't very different so it's cool for me, works very well as a calming interlude but also as a track in its own right, the real orchestra obviously improved its slightly
Easy Now - I know, Noel by the numbers, but it's a bit of a guilty pleasure for me
Council Skies - this is a weird one, when I listen to it I'm always like "woah this is actually good", but I don't feel the need to go back to it As we're judging the album though, it definitely works there
There She Blows - another highlight and to me the most surprising thing on here and maybe the one where he really nails all the ideas he had for it May be the sexiest thing Noel's written Chorus is catchy as hell too
Love is A Rich Man - nice to see he can still write a real good uptempo tune Has a bit of a If Love is The Law vibe, which I also really liked Does it nick the I am The Resurrection drums? Yes it does Do I mind? Fuck no
Think of A Number - this has a weird structure somehow, but it ends up working and it drags you into it Not as good an ending as Mighty I, but it does the job Personally really like the 80s influence
Also wanna say a word on We're Gonna Get There in The End because I liked it but was never a massive fan of the demo but the horns and overall production make it massive
Overall I'm very happy after first listen maybe it's not got as many highs as his previous records but it's solid all-around and it's very varied, and there are still 2 or 3 gems It feels so good to have Noel in his 50s still producing something I can lose myself into

First time listen to the album. Loving it. Highlights: I'm Not Giving Up Tonight, There She Blows along Really like what he did with We're Gonna Get There In The End, sounds massive with the production.

Loving all the unheard tunes so far. Not sure what is my favourite, maybe Love is a Rich Man The album flows really well, no need to use the skip button in this one Let's go now with the remixes and extras...

Well i just listened to the album again with Flying on the Ground and it fits perfectly.
What were you thinking you vagina. Its the best song you've released post pandemic. Deserves another "you vagina"
Re that compressed sound. Any hope it will sound better on CD ? specialists ?

Best tunes on it are Pretty Boy and Think of a Number. This area is where he's strongest nowadays. Holmes remix of INGUT is also miles better than the version chosen for the album.
Tryin to find a world is perfect also...
The rest should go down well with the Oasis fanboys.

But compressed-as-fuck is kind of his MO, so I wouldn't expect much improvement.
