I do and for some reasons things can go a bit haywire for some reason. I was getting messages periodically that I was banned and contacted the mods and I think that was the explanation. I've never actually been banned  |

For me it's the song that Stop The Clocks should have been. Totally blown me away.
Doesn't fit in with the rest of the album though. Should have been an isolated single.

Mike Rowe is good isn't he? Shows you how quickly amazing music can come together when two talents jam together.
And imagine being so good, you can write a song like this one evening, play it the next day, and then just forget about it and not even bother recording it?! That my friends, is genuine genius. All those teams of songwriters in LA working together, the Greg Kurstin's of this world, for all their trying and cynical efforts to write the perfect chorus, will never come up with something as good as this. You either have it or you don't. Must infuriate them.

For example we’ve heard Noel say back in the late 90s and even a couple of years ago that Setting Sun was written specifically for a Chemical Brothers project. Yet we all know and have the demo with Oasis playing it years before Noel even met Chemical brothers and probably before they eve. Existed. It’s a better story if he says he winged the song on the spot. |

I don't think he improvised everything on the spot. I might be ruining the song for everyone here, but I'm pretty sure Mike Rowe mentioned on the StageLeft podcast that he added keyboards to the recording while on the road.

Nice traditional Noel song, there's always room for one of these on each album. A bit better than Dying of the Light and a billion times better than If I Had A Gun, shame they couldnt agree to use this kind of material to back up the better songs on the album as there's a lot of filler caused by restricting himself to only writing in the studio.

i don't this so. he may have added a few bars to retouch but he was in the studio that day playing Dying of the Light and Noel specifically mentions him jumping into the tune |
