Good to hear that Ian is back to his solo work. I loves Roses and saw them twice on their reunion tour, but they're done. Third album will never happen. Looking forward to his new album and hopefully to see him again.

I suppose that if he comes to Spain in the next tour he will play some classics. But it wont be the same without the rest of the band

I know, you know, everybody knows that this man can't sing, but it doesn't matter at all when you see him on stage. John Squire was cool as f**k on stage and I'll miss Many, but it's all good now. I'm glad that they "stopped" because they made a parody of themselves by keep playing all those stadium "reunion" tour.

If you see Ian on youtube you will inmediately face palm while hearing him,but I guess that on stage non of it matters. Many is the man I will miss the most. What a drummer. But yes, you're right about why they needed to stop. They splitted few times, come back many others and announced an album that didn't come out at all. But its sad, love the band and they are something that will go down in history. Anyway, looking at the future I wonder what Ian is going to do next. 9 years its a looong time so maybe he comes with something fresh. But I must say that all of his solo albums got great tunes, but mostly are really dull and bad tracks. He hasn't done a perfect album since the first with the Roses. So I hope this next one got at least more than 5 greats songs

I've always been a big fan of Ian Brown's solo tunes. He has some under-rated albums so far. Looking forward to this!
The Roses come back was all about the money, although we got a couple of new tunes give me an Ian Brown album anyday.

I might be in the minority, but compared to the brillance of both Stone Roses albums (I don't think Second Coming is bad at all) Ian Brown's solo career has always been a bit of a letdown. Not that interesting sonically and the songwriting just isn't there without Squire.

Squire in recent years has lost his intricate psycehdelic guitar style in favor of a more blues rock approach so there wouldn't be much difference for whoever is on lead.

Iwas just not sold on the reunion when it happened so when i heard they split up again i was chuffed to fuck i thought get in a new solo album

I don't like any of the albums tbh, don't really think he's got a perfect record. Most of the songs are really poor. I was so interested in Music Of The Spheres, but there were only 3 tunes that I loved. The record 'The Greatest' is gold, but that doesn't count. I love so many tunes, being FEAR one of my favourite songs ever. But entire albums...not for me

The World Is Yours is one of my favourite albums ever.
Can't wait for the new stuff. Has he got Aziz on board or not?

Is the same with Morrissey in my opinion, some solid singles, really good songs, but I only like 1 or 2 from each album.

I remember watching Stone Roses at Sziget in 2012. Probably the worst headliner I've ever saw anywhere and I'm their fan. Still can't get over it

And the same to Johnny Marr. Mozz got a new album coming next friday, and I will listen to it but I will probably like 4 or 5 songs. Must say that Spent The Day In Bed is one of his greatest tunes though. And with Johnny Marr is the same thing. Love New Town Velocity,Back In The Box,Easy Money and even the cover he did on Depeche Mode. But albums..meh. At least the last one by Ian got some good songs. Just Like You,In The Year 2525 and the brilliant Stellify.
