While Liam's tweet are obvisouly over the line, Noel does seem to becoming a massive douche. Between the sunglasses on at all times, the constant name dropping about Bono,Morrisey, etc and the celebrity stalking along with this new direction he is taking that he seems to belittle fans that have been with him for 25 years, he's becoming an arrogant prick. The thing I always loved about Noel was that no matter how big he got or how famous he was, he seemed like a pretty down to earth guy (even if he did the tongue in cheek arrogance). He seems to be losing that in the recent round of interviews with this album.

I see absolutely nothing different with Noel. He's always been arrogant, he's always worn sunglasses all the time, he's always had celebrity friends that he's name dropped, he's always shown discomfort with the fans. Down to earth guy?!!!? Who the hell are you talking about. Not the Noel I've been listening to since 1994. He's always been a bit of a dick, very witty, and a bit closed off. Liam's always been more open, more of a people person, and forever crossing lines that he shouldn't cross.
THEY'RE THE SAME PEOPLE.
This kind of agenda is tiring. Liam fans will excuse behaviour from their dude that they would crucify Noel for. It's no different from the way people choose sports teams or political parties these days. Depressing.

Oasis fans criticising one of the Gallagher's for being an arrogant prick still makes me laugh... Noel says offensive things that I agree with - LEGEND Noel says offensive things I don’t agree with - PRICK I think a small section of the Oasis fanbase have to be the most hypocritical fans around. |

Noel and Liam have always been arrogant and pretty merciless at times and it's a huge part of the charm, but they've never been pretentious. I can't help but feel it's started seeping into Noel's interviews with this album.

While this may be irrelevant for Noel and for some here, the fact is, Noel is at an all time low with Oasis fans.
As I said, I'm just stating a fact. Whether it's an important or an unimportant fact, it's up to each one's judgement.

Noel is Noel. Always has been, always will be.
That being said, I really like the mature man he turned into. His antics in the 90s were fine at the time, but I'm glad he can use that same wit in a more sincere manner these days.
