Oh man this song is fucking amazing. Weirdly, the worst part in the song is where Noel sings "You gotta get yourself together". I fucking love the instrumental combined with those female vocals but I slightly dislike when that line kicks in. But on the other hand, that "keep on holding out, holding on" fits the song very well and I like it. I like the 'get yourself together' refrain but it never stood out for me amongst all the other goings on in this tune. Until today that is. I was subconsciously listening to the tune while working away and concentrating on other things and was caught unawares by it. The surprise of it really struck me. Weird how the mind works and things just click automatically at times. Now when I was listening to it this evening, I was actually anticipating the moment rather than just taking it as it comes as I previously did. I’m the complete opposite. Ever since hearing that bit in the trailer I’ve loved it. The chord progression is absolute magic and SO Noel. I couldn’t wait to hear what went on around that bit of the song, before and after. The Afrobeat singing is just incredible and the fact Noel wrote all this still blows my mind.

I gave it a 7. Doesn’t reach the highs of Swamp song or Bushes for me. I really dig the intro and ending when Noel sings you gotta get yourself together part. I still feel like something is missing around the 45 second/Minute mark. The mix is a little too muddy. Don’t like that blow out sound on my headphones or car speakers. I just listened to becks new album. Full of big drums and bass. None of it cloudy and blowing out my speakers. Strange mix.

8. Mainly because it gets close to that sound of chemical brothers and Teotihuacan, which I always really liked and felt was sort of something that Noel ment to build on and never did. It has a nice late 90s sound transported to now a days. There really is nothing grownd breaking on it though. Good bass line. Sound louder than HM. But yeah like a said I like this sound and feel that it's something Noel had started to work towards and gave up.
Lennon, that Beck album sounds so good and loud. Really enjoyed it.

For One So Young should have been track 7 on Standing. You probably also think If We Shadows should have replaced Stand By Me on Be Here Now. do you, franklomax LOMAX?

9/10 without doorbell 1/10 with doorbell The doorbell brings on my tinnitus, which is a real shame as otherwise I love the tune. X

For what we could expect from Noel in 2017, this is a 10/10. An absolute belter of a track.

Most of my friends are musicians: this, TMWBTM, and Holy Mountain are their favorites.
