Vocals, Guitar: Noel Gallagher Bass Guitar: Samuel Dixon Engineer, Mixer, Drums: Emre Ramazanoglu Keyboards: Keefus Ciancia Background Vocalist: Adelaide McKenzie Background Vocalist: Beverley Skeete Background Vocalist: Sara-Jane Skeete Background Vocalist: Mary Pearce Background Vocalist: Audrey Gbaguidi Strings: Emma Smith Strings: Vince Sipprell Cello: Rob Lewis Percussion: Pete Lockett Programming, Producer: David Holmes Engineer: Tristin Norwell Asst. Recording Engineer: Dani Spragg Recording Engineer: Paul "Strangeboy" Stacey Mastering Engineer: John Davis Composer, Author: Noel Gallagher Fun fact: Sara Jane Skeete sings or used to sing backing vocals for Robbie Williams. Also used to be Mika's backing singer on tour. Saw her once. I had her as a friend on Myspace and she recorded a solo album which she sent to me. It was bloody awful, but she has a great voice. Oh what a small world.

Someone from Noel's management needs to call Wwe. It's a banger that needs to be the intro song for a Fight!

Sounds like something from one of those shows they put up at Eurovision Song Contest while they're counting all the votes, but good.

If you think this is his worst since 1997, then you definitely must be one of the crazy ones. Go let it out,gas panic, roll it over, stop crying your heart out, lyla, falling down ..just to name a few!! HM pisses all over those songs. I'm not a massive fan of Oasis Mk2 anyway.

I don't think Noel's management ever look for links to shut down. They just wait for them to be posted here

Are you happy? You sound like you are. You must really like the new single then. Laughing in a delusional way and pretending everything is ok!!

I doubt that Noel is the sole composer/author. He's probably just the only one who gets credits No doubt that Holmes is the driving force behind it, but hell would freeze before Noel gave away writing credits. Probably paid a set fee to Holmes. You have to wonder how much of this album is Noel, and how much is Holmes. Everyone is criticising Liam's album because he didn't write much of it, but this may be the case for Noel's album too.

Who wants the same old? None of what I heard is actually that new at all...it’s actually quite same old IMO. People think it is, but it isn’t really. Find it just a bit boring and predictable If you found three minutes of trip-hop rhythm, looped strings, female chanting, heavy organs, and ringing alarms "predictable" for Noel I don't think anything is ever gonna surprise you. I think (having only heard HM so far) that his point is that kitchen-sink arrangements don't really make the melodies unusual for Noel. It's just BHN for the electronica crowd. The songs still have to live or die on the quality of their melodies. Mind you, I gave HM an 8/10, so I'm quite firmly in the positive camp, but I do see what he's getting at.

Ironically, I could see Fort Knox being a song that gets heavily sampled by other artists.

This tunes full of tension isn't it? Like a nervous breakdown in a song.

Around this time next week, we "should" be getting It's a Beautiful World.
With him going on Jools Holland, I just can't see him going on with only Fort Knox and Holy Mountain.

Yes I thought that too, seems that they've both collaborated heavily. It may actually be the case that Liam's album contains more self-written material than Noel's. Personally I don't care that much, Doesn't Have To Be That Way is a much better song than Holy Mountain at doing the job Noel wanted (must be one of the biggest failures of his career), I'd rather Liam went into the next album with as few of his own songs as possible, just a few ideas that get fleshed out by the likes of Wyatt and Kurstin. Not dissimilar to Noel on this record.
