Also, nothing is wrong with Liam getting help with songwriting (and correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe FRT KNX said there was). Wrong is being a mediocre lyricist and then criticizing Noel for his mediocre lyrics. FRT KNX's point is that in that regard, Liam hasn't got a leg to stand on. 1) Fair enough. I think the best songs on AYW were written by Liam 2) I guess it's a matter of interpretation. I'm getting his post as an attempt to put down the fact that he's got extra songwriters. this is what is about.
this is exactly what i want from Noel in 2017.
immense and groovy, its like the best parts of BHN and SOTSOG. shit sounds widescreen.
Holy Mountain was alright, I'm kinda hoping, and its looking like it'll kinda function as the Roll With It for the record. It's a nice pop song with some interesting sonic inflections. I love that we got some Beach Boys vibes from Noel, but Fort Knox is more up my alley and this has got me legitimately excited. With Holy Mountain my expectation was at a nice simmer, this got it boiling.

On a side note, this translation is farcical. It doesn't even make sense in Italian. They misspelt "tu"="you" ("u") and "trovare"="find" ("rovare"), but "devi farti trovare insieme" (litterally "you gotta get yourself together") doesn't mean anything. There are other way of saying this in Italian, like "devi rimetterti in sesto". This is just appalling, coming from an official source.  ahahah I came here to say the same thing. At first i thought that wasn't italian but something like romanian lol I wonder how they came out with that phrase, not even google translate is that bad. I'm pretty sure it's not hard to find italians in London that can translate it correctly. I can't believe they made such a ridiculous mistake on an official video tbf. |
