LOL harsh words from a guy who has to pay other people to write his lyrics. Can we just stop all this even if Liam and Noel won't?

I have to admit that I'm a little biased because of the success of As you Were. This is actually really quite unexpected to see Noel evolve to make this kind of music. It's a rather brilliant developement.

Liam picks successful singers like Dolly Parton and Christina Aguilera to compare Noel with, maybe they are actually compliments

As soon as this song hit my iTunes library it was deleted. What a piece of annoying, pretentious garbage. I don't need another alarm clock, Noel.

The drums are my favorite. Bombastic, very hip-hop like. The beginning of an album is always my favorite because a lot of the times the first song is a statement for what’s to come. Love Fort Knox

Anybody think the "Keep holding out. Holding on." is sampled from another song on the album?

Liam loves it, that's why he's trashing it. It's when Liam doesn't give a release any attention that you know he's maniacally laughing in the corner of his room.

A great album opener, gets you in the mood right away for listening something different.
I love how different are getting Liam and Noel, As you Were is a good rock album, and Noel is getting us something different. They are away musically and i honestly do not expect a reunion.
As for the banter on both sides... it's expected. I don't really care what they've got to say about each other, it just amuse me for the 3 minutes i read a slag from each other. Then i move on

Anybody think the "Keep holding out. Holding on." is sampled from another song on the album? Cool theory, hadn't thought of that. Maybe there are other (non-vocal) samples in there as well, kinda like how I Am The Sea as the first track on Quadrophenia has small samples of 4 other tracks later in the album.

X Enormous wasn't it? Ironically perhaps Liam had by far the biggest Other Stage crowd I've ever seen in ten Glastos this year...

He hasnt rattled me at all mate, I'm just pointing it out, and thinking it's a very strange thing to say based on this. YOU'RE the one defending his post, picking sides in the #team "war" it seems. You, and a lot of other users - INCLUDING A FEW MODS - seem very uptight.

FFS really again with this shit? I was just pointing it out. No need to get your knickers in a twist. 1) it's not entirely true. in fact, the best songs on AYW were written by Liam 2) Liam himself mentioned many times he doesn't consider himself a songwriter, so he had some people help him with it. What's wrong with that? 3) you're just repeating everything Noel says and it's very annoying. Same goes when Liam fans calling everything "beige" Can people not think for themselves?

You are usually a voice of reason but I've gotta take issue with some of your points, eva. "In fact, the best songs on AYW were written by Liam" is nonsense. Your taste is subjective. Also, nothing is wrong with Liam getting help with songwriting (and correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe FRT KNX said there was). Wrong is being a mediocre lyricist and then criticizing Noel for his mediocre lyrics. FRT KNX's point is that in that regard, Liam hasn't got a leg to stand on.
