That is not the overall Japanese charts, right? I believe he's #1 among international artists. Yes and S.Korea charts too Edit: WBTM is #7 in the overall Japanese charts.

The first artist to have 10 consecutive UK no.1 albums.
One of the most underapreciated songwriters.
Well in Noel.

It's a Beautiful World at #80. Release the damn video NOWWW!!! Remember how the runaway success of Wonderwall delayed the release of Dont Look Back in Anger? That's what's happened here. HM has burnt its way up the charts, searing through the competition, sitting proudly in the 30s, thus requiring the BW video to be held back. X Is that actually what happened? Genuine question as I was nine months old at the time!

Is that actually what happened? Genuine question as I was nine months old at the time! Yeah Wonderwall stayed in the charts forever. X I always thought it was strange there was a five-month gap between the release of Wonderwall and DLBIA. Given all the previous singles were 2-3 months. That explains it though.

D'you think when Noel's debut album sold loads it was really because all the casual fans actually thought he was Liam!?

The record is for consecutive number ones. The Beatles didn't get to no1 with Yellow Submarine and Wings didn't always make it to the top either. Two in a row is Paul's record after the Beatles. Jay-Z is still riding a streak of 14 consecutive number one albums. Not in the UK though.

I haven't seen much publicity for it and couldn't even find it in the Warehouse the other day. Edit- not sure if it's charted yet. No1 on the rising fast chart nztop40.co.nz/chart/discover?chart=4418

It's a Beautiful World at #80. Release the damn video NOWWW!!! This has to be a mistake. Very strange. Dead in the water was at#65 in the updates and now is not even on top 100. It's a beautiful world wasn't even in the updates. And on itunes and spotify Dead in the water has been charting higher during the week.... I think you might be on to something here. At no point last week did I see Beautiful World out performing Dead In The Water via Spotify, iTunes, or YouTube. How did it appear like this out of nowhere?

Liam still going strong. Sure I got AYW for $20 so not sure why Noel is $2 more.

I've heard both Holy Mountain and Wall Of Glass on the radio exactly...once. The Rock fm play Liam a lot. Heard Wall of Glass at least 5 times and in the last week heard Greedy Soul 3 times and Bold once. This was during commute home so busy times.

#39 in USA with 14k sales + streaming from which 13k were sales Liam was #30 with 15k so probably the same people bought both I honestly had no idea how the brothers would do in America in 2017. I haven't seen either of their albums in Best Buy or Targets. Just small indie record shops but in extreme limited quantities. On the flip side, I know that each brother deployed the "new" strategy of attaching a "free" album for each ticket sold on their USA tour. Those actually count towards first week sales strangely. Arcade Fire famously did this over the summer and their album stormed the charts to #1, their 3rd overall. So based on that fact alone, I figured both brothers should debut very high since they sold out dates and at least half the venues for their tours. Each ticket sold is an album in the charts so to see these low sales figures kinda surprises me.
