The people spoke on the quality of the songs not on the fact it was a band without Noel. Had the songs been there it wouldn't have mattered. If they had of carried on with the Oasis name which of course they didn't then I would have agreed with you. People didn’t want Beady Eye which was Oasis without Noel because he was the leader. He wrote the songs. Without him we all feared Beady Eye wouldn’t be able to produce an album of quality tunes. That ended up being the case. We all had reason to worry. It wasn’t unjustified. Beady Eye failed on the strength of their work not on the fact Noel wasnt there. Had the albums been great no one would have been bothered that Noel wasn't there.

Shit even with Noel they weren’t making great records post 2000. Most of us were extremely skeptical on it they could do it. We all know what happened. The “if” Game is too strong against LAG. It would have been a miracle for them to make a great or very very good album. They just aren’t songwriters. No shame in that.

If Liam kept the oasis band going after Noel quit trust me I’d have no interest. Wouldn’t feel real. Wouldn’t be natural. I don’t think it would have gone down well at all. Well youd miss out, but crowds the size of finsbury park will have the time of their lives seeing him perform Oasis songs and i doubt Noel not coming on for The Masterplan and Dont Look Back In Anger (as good as that would be) will dampen their spirits. Miss out? They were basically Oasis minus Noel for Beady Eye. I missed nothing. When they finally in desperation played Oasis songs it came off like a cover band of Oasis except these guys were in Oasis. Glory was always gonna be out of reach for them. You can’t rip out half the heart of Oasis and think a band like that can soldier on under the same banner. You're all assuming they could make a great record without Noel. That. Did. Not. Happen. It’s was their Achilles heel.

Thanks. But I think Noel first solo sold 2.5 million albums world wide. 800,000 plus in the uk. So Noel won the battle

Noel is a Tory now so obviously Liam won the battle regardless.

What did Liam’s band do in 2011? You mean the band with the strange name? Yeah. The one with him as the driving and life force behind it. His first baby.

I was hoping now that both have number 1 albums people could be happy and stop comparing them. Nope. The hate runs deep. Do records sales equal if something is good or bad? Those aren’t exclusive to one another. People were jumping for joy it seemed that Holy Mountain bombed. That ended up being premature. Sometimes it’s the long game too people.

Yeah. The one with him as the driving and life force behind it. His first baby. why not use the whole 'baby come on' phraze?😋 It’s funny when people compare, bash or brag about Noel vs Liam in the charts. So many forget that Beady Eye happened and humbled Liam incredibly. Liam just entered the solo artist game and rightfully so. But it’s so tough to judge and compare when one guy is on album 3 and another just began their solo career.

I bought Noel's record on vinyl, CD and the 12" single. I don't feel any hate. Love+Peace. Ringo.
