Fuck you, Lomax. I hope you're standing behind a much taller guy (I imagine you're a 5'6" manlet tbh) and the people around you are eating smelly food at an obnoxious volume.

Has it ever been suggested that this Lomax and Beady are the same obnoxious person? They both seem hopeless at social cues. Totally different people. One is the scum of the interest and the other is the forum jester.

The guy behind me in line says he wants to hear Magic Pie and DYWTBAS. Obviously not stalking the set lists. I'd kill for Magic Pie to return to its glory!

Really looking forward to Go Let It Out the most tonight. Any forum members here at the Oakland gig come say hi to the world famous Lomax. Currently chilling in The Den wearing a Man City shirt.

I’m ushering the show tonight, meaning I see a lot of the tickets. A really high percentage of comp - every ticket that I checked in the first ten rows seemed to be.
That said, it sounds better live than I expected, since I really disliked the album. Interesting wall of sound, but still feel the underlying song structure is simplistic.

It was absolutely true about the beards. As I watched people arrive, I suddenly noticed a shockingly high percentage of beards - at one point I might have said it was 80% of the men. A very large group of bears came in (a SF term - a gay guy who looks burly, is stocky and has a beard) arrived as a large contingent.

Those VIPs were a terrible idea. Way overpriced and he had the same deal for all gigs, even where his overal numbers would be softer.

A really high percentage of comp - every ticket that I checked in the first ten rows seemed to be. What does that mean exactly in this case? Record company people? Media giveaways? Means they gave them away any way they could to fill the seats - friends of promoters, friends of band, radio station giveaways - bodies. I’m not even 100% sure the “experience” took place last night - didn’t hear anyone mention it being in a given area, and the floor tickets were all priced at the same range as the balcony for the past couple of weeks - maybe they canned it. Did anyone at the Fox buy the upgrade?

Did anyone at the Fox buy the upgrade? I didn’t even see it at Radio City. I’m assumig it was setup downstairs in the basement where the bathrooms and beer vendors are. Caused massive backup of other bathrooms in the venue but more importantly robbed me of my go to beer locations. Tucked away, never a line.

So the VIP tickets, which didn't sell well, removed an option for buying beer?

How do you get comped tickets to see Noel? Sometimes venues send out emails week of, friends of promoters, repeat customers, etc. This tour has been very highly comped. Probably averaging about 35-40% of attendees at most venues. Even the big markets, which is never good. Some friends in the Chicago office referred to the show as Noel Gallagher's High Flying Comps as that show was at just under 50% comped.

Dammit. I paid a lot of money for my ticket, but I don't know anybody. Oh go on and take my show money Noel, since I'm not going to buy your record. Fair is fair. Lol. Just signup for your venues mailing list, that's the most common/easiest route comps see offered

If you go down the stairs where the bathrooms are, big bar that is usually empty. Which way to piss and get ur drinking game on. It was closed off for the Noel concert. Im assuming the VIP exhibit was down there but haven’t heard for certain. So yes. Beer drinking was impacted.

First LA show was good. I haven't seen Noel since his first solo tour and it's great to see his band become more dynamic and part of the show. Makes things more interesting. Never thought i'd hear as many people sing a long to Little By Little as I did last night. you can tell the oasis thirst is real. Also really love what he did with The Right Stuff, turning it into more of a jam with free-form vocals. All in all a great show, though would've loved to hear champagne supernova/literally any other oasis song instead of All You Need Is Love, but eh
