Very disappointed

Hearing something like parts of 3 songs together all in one video kinda felt like someone had thrown a burrito onto a car windscreen with all the contents flying everywhere, so it made a lot more sense on second listen mentally separating the tracks out every 50 seconds or so.
If a comparison is to be made with his past collaborations and one-offs, it sounds more in the vein of Let Forever Be or Echoes Round The Sun rather than Teotihuacan or Setting Sun (i.e. happy).
Actually on repeated listens, the Let Forever Be influence is definitely there.
Like the sounds of those 3 songs from the extracts given on first few listens, but I'll be honest in that it isn't sticking around in my head much once the video has ended each time. Maybe will grow more once full tracks start getting released and once I've given them more time/listens, but slightly wary in case it turns out to be more surface than substance. That isn't to say I don't commend Noel on making a whole album with a greater emphasis on sound, but only time will tell whether the songs are there or not (atm, uncertain...).

I'm not worried at all. Also, I can't judge a song from a 30 second long clip, but it sounds good to my ears. it sounds like music you listen to on your headphones and really get lost into it

The last song of the video, She Taught Me How To Fly.

No wonder fatty Moyles hated it.

Also calling it right now that music critics are going to attack Noel for doing an obvious Achtung Baby/Reflektor move. Let's hope the tunes can rise above that.

I'm so looking forward to dropping it at a party and dancing like the drunk idiot I am.

So.... they sound different. I didn't expect full blown psychedelic but it looks like it's happening.
All those remixes we've been getting since the Dig Out Your Soul Bsides have prepared us for this moment but the casual NG fans (I know quite a few) will not know what the f*ck is going on.

Noel says it's “one of the best things I’ve ever done”. That's a bold statement.

Really like the sound of that opening track, not too sure about the other 2 but obviously not enough to judge by, but the visuals on that video are outstanding. i'm a big fan of psych stuff (especially modern like tame impala, pond, king gizz etc) so if the album ends up having that 'psychedelic' theme to it then i'll be very happy, just hope we get a few heavier sounding tunes on the record

Did anyone record the Moyles show? I'd like to hear the song snippets.

I'm glad he is trying something new (for him). Another album of HFB 1 and 2 type songs might have been a bit dull. He doesn't want a repeat of BHN (third album). I'm just hoping the songs still have a solid structure. I digging the guitar work on the second song.

Sounds pretty cool. Even from the short clips it is the direction that I wanted from his first album never mind his third.
Also, hearing the video, these songs are primed for being remixed. Looking forward to the next couple of months.

Listened to the trailer 3 times. Fort Knox sounds rather cool. It's Beautiful World seems total shit, what the fuck is that chorus ? She Taught Me How To Fly melody sounds a bit like The Good Rebel from what I recall cos' I've already forgot how it goes.
Not hyped at all, the melodies of this trailer very weak. But who knows, maybe there will be a good surprise behind the door !

Holy shit, just watched the video. He's done it. It sounds nothing like Oasis. Yes finally! Prefer this miles over another plodding HFB 1 oasis sounding record.
