Smart to do the tour in April/May. This album seems like it's going to take a while to 'grow' on people. Get it out there, get people knowing the new songs he does do live, and the atmosphere will be top. The difference between the start and end of the CY tour was stark in that regard Ah - that's why May was mentioned in the Liam interview?

Very disappointed at the lack of a Scandinavian date.

No single announcement?! that's super weird. If they're not going to play it today, then there's no reason to announce. They'll probably try to steal some headlines midweek by announcing it then.

Chemicals-MGMT-New Order-Gorillaz. It’s not experimental when others got there 3 decades earlier. Given his work with the Chemicals in the past it’s not even new territory for Noel himself. Sounds to me like same Xmas tree, different tinsel. Difference between experimental and groundbreaking. This isn't groundbreaking, but for Noel it is experimental. I am offering no more. Off to the Liam section before people throw eggs at me.

Good morning everyone! I´ve just preordered picture disc from official store. I´d like to hear a full song before throw back an opinion. It´s impossible to judge with just some seconds of different songs!
I´d love some experimental or adventourous record from Noel like i said before...but an experimental rock record. From this snippets i can hear a Gorillaz, Chemichal, AA (even The Killers in the last snippet) and that it wasn´t what i was expecting.
Said that, i´ll listen carefully and with a lot of exciment next 24th November!
Anybody knows when is the first single out??

It's hard to tell so early on, but I'm not feeling it right now.

No Scandinavian dates at all? Too bad bad I'm in the US during most of the UK dates...

There's a HMV Exclusive white vinyl version and there is also a HMV exclusive 12" single (doesn't say what song) pressed on orange vinyl. 12" single only available to buy currently with a copy of the album as part of a bundle.

I must have watched the video five times by now. David Holmes is a glorious bastard for getting Noel to do something like that. Totally unlike him and more like the kind of pop/rock sound I'm into nowadays. Bring it on.

The difference between the start and end of the CY tour was stark in that regard Ah - that's why May was mentioned in the Liam interview? Aye, possibly! Liam said the album had been pushed back. Maybe it was just a case of pushing the tour back so Noel and Liam weren't touring at the same time.

I'm calling it right now, Who Built the Moon will divide Noel's fanbase right down the center. If you thought that songs like Ballad of the Mighty I and The Right Stuff were polarizing, just you wait till this album drops.

Listening to the clips again, seems like Noel is not over his U2/80s sound obsessions. Let's wait for the full thing, but yeah, worried.

The intro to the first song (Fort Knox) reminds me of the Bourne film series theme.

I'm not worried at all.
Also, I can't judge a song from a 30 second long clip, but it sounds good to my ears.
