Release date 17th November. Artwork revealed: I like the idea but the result looks cheap. The boy is clearly taken from a studio session and placed into a stock image.

Looks like a fan made photoshop of a Morrissey album cover!
Looking forward to this album though. He may be acting a prick these days, but I'm always intrigued as to what he has to offer. Could be terrible, could be great - always treading that fine line between genius and insanity is Morrissey!

Really looking forward to this. Johnny is working on his new album as well. What a great music year with fantastic new releases.

New single Spent the Day in Bed is out today - not bad on first listen, sounds a lot like something off You Are The Quarry or World Peace.

I like the electric keyboard and the gurgling electronic noises. It's sounds like it's been produced pretty well, to my untrained ears.
I think the chorus is awkward though, and the repetition of "Time, do as I wish" seems pretty needless.

It could have been on his last album which I really love. To me "World Peace Is None of Your Business" is best album by Moz and my favourite next to Viva Hate. September (Mogwai, The National, Daughter), October (The Queen Is Dead reissue, Out Line's first album, Liam's first solo album) and November (Moz). What a great music year!

I quite like it, and I love the message of the song, but the lyrics are a bit weak. The chorus is really good.

I prefer Noel's ode to laziness personally.

The last two are sure to be well thought out toe tappers without a hint of racism in any way.

That said, I think World Peace is also Moz's best album. It's a remarkable collection of songs with a remarkable sound throughout. It will be hard to rival that, especially as the rumour at the time was that it might be his last album. Looking forward to hearing this.
The cover art though...makes the first HFB album look like Sgt Peppers.

I have to admit after a few more listens I like it a lot. But I get the impression his voice is heavily autotuned, I haven't noticed it in any of his previous albums, am I the only one?

Nah, he couldn't do it could he. Embarrassing prick, think I'll give this one a swerve.

Are you referring to his apparent support to Anne Marie Waters? What’s wrong with Anne Marie Waters? Most Morrissey/Smiths fans aren't too keen on Ukip.

Have to admit I don't really care what Morrissey thinks and says, as long as the music is good I'm happy. It's still a new album by one of the greatest musicians of all time for me.

Have to admit I don't really care what Morrissey thinks and says, as long as the music is good I'm happy. It's still a new album by one of the greatest musicians of all time for me. He's like many poets isn't he? Ted Hughes, Philip Larkin, Dylan Thomas - read a lot of poor stuff about them. As a fan, I can only roll my eyes and mutter 'for fuck sake' when I read this. He just comes off like the right wing uncle who ruins a family dinner when he does this. Doesn't stop me listening to his music though, but with regards to his new lyrics, I don't know whether I will be laughing with him (like The Smiths) or laughing at him.
