I was 14 and moving to the middle of nowhere... this album was my closest friend. So I was floating in a lazy river in Miami and you were walking with the tumbleweeds in west Texas. Rock n roll!

I was 16, I cant believe 20 years! Many beautiful memories. I bought it after school, ran to the record store, it was a moment to have it in my hands!! finally ... then I ran to my house to listen., my head exploded once more ... it made me feel incredible, capable of everything, without fears... I love oasis and I always will!!

The album that got me into the band, I was only 10. Listening everyday with my brother after school whilst doing our homework probably wasn't a good idea. I remember rewinding the solo on 'It's Gettin' Better (Man!)' over and over again, I thought it was the best thing ever.
Very fond memories.

I became 14 the day the album came out in my country (august 26). Bought it that day and loved it instantly. I thought it was better then Morning Glory those days, changed my opinion later. But still got good memories bout the album, and there are some killer songs on it.

Great album, despite the critics. Was 16 at the time it came out, and i played it every day for like 3 months in a row DYKWIM and Stand By Me videos constantly on TV was also a great feeling. DYKWIM one is particularly good. And buying singles every 3 months to have 3 new tracks was also exciting, there was almost no wait for new material inbetween albums, loved that time. It's also the album that helped me learn guitar, i actually played on it a lot, just put the cd on, plugged the guitar and learn the solos and stuff.

First album I bought on release day (I had just turned 9). I loved it at the time and played it constantly. Now I never play it anymore, since it gives me a terrible headache, and it seems to be getting worse and worse every time I hear a track off it. I know it's a capital sin for an Oasis fan to say this, but the songs aren't that good and they're made worse by the unnecessary overdubs and the terrible mixing. The one redeeming quality about it is the vocals. Noel is right in his assessment of the album and lost a terrific opportunity to make it more listenable through a proper remix.

I see why the reissue came out on the ridiculous 19th anniversary now both Liam and Noel have solo albums being promoted.

If you listen really, really hard, underwater, facing magnetic north with your head tilted toward your left lug at 45 degrees - there's a classic album to be heard somewhere in there.
I think Hazed could be the man to un-gild the lily.

I think Hazed could be the man to un-gild the lily. He would need the multitracks.

Are they not available? Thought they must be as he's already done a couple from BHN.

Fuck I'm really starting to wish Noel remixed the whole album the way he did with DYKWIM?, not because it necessarily needs it just because I'm really curious to see how songs like The Girl In The Dirty Shirt and It's Getting Better (Man!!) would sound.
I know this is probably an unpopular opinion but I'd rather Noel release this than a new NGHFB album.
