As There She Goes doesn't need my vote.... i think many people (including myself) thought the same thing you did. that's what happened in this round. with that being said, i'm not at all surprised 'how soon is now' won it. that song grabs you by the balls for the entire 6:44 and doesn't let go.

The Verve - Brainstorm Interlude Massive Attack - Unfinished Sympathy Bruce Springsteen - Hungry Heart I'll leave it to Officer Jim Kurring to nominate Street Fighting Man.... 'Street Fighting Man' connection to Oasis gives it panache, but doubt it would win.... 'She's A Rainbow' won't win either, by the way. Was thinking 'Monkey Man' for track 8, and 'Beast of Burden' for track 9.....both should get decent amount of votes. ------ Disappointed 'How Soon Is Now' won......don't like the guitar effect on that song, and Morrissey's vocal is annoying af. Thanks.

Since we have so many great and well-known tunes already, my nominations for track 6 are (as usual) songs which are semi-unknown or tragically underrated (or both things at the same time). They have zero chance of winning but maybe somebody will click on the link and discover some great music Sit & Listen to the Rain by Whiskeytown (the kind of moody and melodic track that I love) Smalltown Boy by Bronski Beat (full '80s power with this one!)

Seconded on Kashmir by Led Zeppelin, too.
