I thought about maybe nominating Massive Attack's Unfinished Sympathy, Dirty Epic by Underworld or Aftermath by Tricky, but the way the votes have been going, there's a run of 4 tracks that are already on the moodier side of the spectrum.
If it's going to be that sort of album, so be it, but even so, a change of style keeps the album interesting and would sort of 'cleanse the palate' before the second half of the album, a bit like Exchange on Mezzanine, Optimistic on Kid A, etc.

As you suggested though, Dirty Epic gets my nomination - probably the centrepiece of 'dubnobass'. |
