You can say that, but Stand By Me is noticeably and obviously better with the chorus doing three repetitions rather than four. The "I know what I know" bit in All Around the World hits much better when it doesn't do a second run-through of itself. Not massive changes, but good ones. I don't know why people feel the need to either make the songs into three-minute bursts or say they don't need any trims at all.

It seems obvious to me that the album was always going to be overblown, but there's a way of doing that where the bloat doesn't become a drag; Be Here Now has a charm in that anyone trying to make it into a Morning-Glory-style release will hit a brick wall, but it does overstep that fun-to-irritating mark on more than a few occasions. 

If youre just talking about editing down as opposed to remixing/replacing tracks, then I do feel some songs could be trimmed down:

DYKWIM - could have been a minute or so shorter, with both the intro and outro edited down.
Magic Pie - cut the outro down by half a minute or so. That weird bit at the very end is a cool touch, but it takes forever to get there.
Fade In Out - feels a tad overlong, Id have maybe shortened its instrumental sections somewhat.
Be Here Now - id have shortened the outro by half a minute or so, just gets a bit repetitive.
AATW - it does feel meant to be an epic, but the instrumental ending could have been cut in half to shorten it by around 1:30. Id have also excluded the reprise; it just never seemed necessary to me.
Its Gettin Better Man - for me the repetitive outro needs shortening by about 1:15.

Some say Stand By Me needs its second verse cutting; I get where theyre coming from but personally I feel its OK length-wise. My Big Mouth, IHITIK, Dont Go Away and TGITDS are also arguably fine as is.

However, the album’s biggest flaw is the messy mix/overproduction IMO.
