Fuck it... here it is! Two songs in two days!

Now that's better. It just kind of goes nowhere, doesn't it? Not a complain, though – I like it. Could have even more, but it's got colour and it gives me this floating feel.

The production is too clean for my shoegaze taste, though. Give me more reverb!!!

Fuck it... here it is! Two songs in two days! This one is such quality over 'Charm' it feels like they intentionally duped us. Can't wait for the rest! EDIT: Hope there's an extended version with that soundscape. 3 mintues is too short!

I'm not a RIDE fan, aside from like two of their songs, but Home Is A Feeling is much better and sounds more like them. Charm Assault just seems like an average and failed attempt at pop.

Ride had their first 2017 gig last night in Belfast. Four songs from the new album were played: the two singles, Charm Assault and Home Is a Feeling, plus two unheard tracks named Lannoy Point and All I Want.

More info: Lannoy Point is Untitled #3 from last year's September gigs, which is good news as I really liked that song and Andy's guitar work on it. Pro-shot video from Bestival:
And here is a short clip of the other unheard tune, All I Want. It sounds promising when the guitars kick in but the intro is a tad "weird". It has some sampled vocals by Mark I believe, probably what Andy was talking about in this interview:

I personally think Charm Assault is great, really grown on me the last week or two.

Ride have performed a short set for BBC Radio 6 Music Festival in Glasgow tonight. They opened with new song 'Lannoy Point' (aka Untitled #3 from last year) which sounds freaking good! I've ripped it from the webstream and uploaded it on YT, let's see if the BBC police will be nice or not. By the way, mp3s of the tracks from tonight are available in this thread (including Charm Assault, Seagull, Leave Them All Behind, Twisterella, Dreams Burn Down and Like a Daydream).

Loved Lannoy Point! Hope the studio version is just as good as this live one. Home Is A Feeling is great and Charm Assault has grown quite a lot on me. I've been playing them on repeat today. Bring on Weather Diaries!!!

You can watch the full Ride set from last night on the BBC iPlayer! Looking and sounding great. www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p04wtqs3/the-6-music-festival-rideIt's available for the next 29 days starting from today. You have to be in the UK to watch it though, or you have to use some kind of VPN of similar tricks(the Chrome extension named Beebs works well for example, just remember to disable it when you don't need it)

I've uploaded a pro-shot HD version of Home Is a Feeling. I'm really liking the mood of the tune, it should have been longer though!
