I genuinely had no idea he was still touring. Can someone who's been following the tour post a list of any vaguely interesting things that occurred at any of the gigs?

That's a fucking long tour!
Yeah, I haven't followed it - all the early gigs were the exact same - generic and boring.
I want Oasis back.

Started off great and I went to some of my favourite NG gigs ever but it turned into a boring money making rehash.

The O2 gig in March 2015 was the worst Oasis related gig I've been to, basically no atmosphere whatsoever. Bournemouth in April this year was a massive improvement though. It has to be said, this has been without a doubt the most boring Oasis related tour ever.

125 gigs in support of Chasing Yesterday, and he never once played either of The Right Stuff or While the Song Remains the Same? That's pretty poor.

125 gigs in support of Chasing Yesterday, and he never once played either of The Right Stuff or While the Song Remains the Same? That's pretty poor. He also never played The Girl With X-Ray Eyes. So that's 3 songs from 10 track album not played live. At the very least he could have given us an acoustic rendition of one or two in a radio session or something. We never even got any fresh b-sides that weren't already deluxe edition bonus tracks, with the exception of Here's A Candle. This whole chapter of NG has been so half arsed its untrue. Don't forget the 5 month wait after the initial announcement for the album itself. The whole thing has been dragged out for almost 2 whole years!! I still hold Noel in high regard but I must say he has gone down massively in my estimations of him in recent years. He's just a total bore nowadays. Thank God the albums are alright!

Champagne Supernova was a special moment at the gigs I went to (Brussels two times). Same to me. Champagne Supernova last year in Bodukan and Listen Up in Amsterdam this year. Listen Up brought me tears while I was singing along.

After Tuesday I would have been to six dates on this tour all with minimal changes to the set. At the start the setlist was a really good mix of Oasis & HFB songs.
But now whilst it looks great on paper it's pretty boring considering the lack of changes.
I'm surprised Noel isn't bored to death with playing the same songs. Still there's always a chance of something good at Brixton.. (Doesn't hold breath).

If he doesn't mix things up for that one I think I'll only bother with one gig per tour from now on.

I'd be over the moon with two different songs he hasn't played to death at Brixton. I'd be very surprised if he did anymore than that.

If he doesnt play anything from BHN then he's an arsehole quite frankly.

Granted I didn't actually go to any gigs but the videos I saw he was butchering Champagne Supernova. I really didn't like that version with the change of melody and especially Tim's guitar solo. The best I saw was the acoustic gig for Radio 2 with Gem and Noel was proper miserable that night! The unchanging tour set list is just something we will have to live with forever with Noel.

The acoustic version of Champagne Supernova was the real highlight of the tour, probably. Yes it was different but also very emotional, at least from my point of view. And I can't find anything wrong with Tim's solo there (he did fuck up The Masterplan at both the gigs I went to, though). And what about that Radio 2 Gig? "Proper miserable"? That was one of the best things which happened since the split in my book, a fantastic performance Different tastes for different people, I guess.

Unfortunately his set lists don't cater for actual fans that regularly go to his gigs and buy and listen to his current album.
His set lists cater for the average person who had the first 3 oasis albums on cd (now probably in a charity shop) who maybe went to Knebworth. Someone who's recently seen some piece of promotion that he's now a solo artist and thought - I'll go and see him with the Mrs. or a mate for a night out, and we'll have a few beers and a laugh and buy a t-shirt and a programme that we don't need, and it will go in a draw when we get home.

At this rate he's not even going to scratch the surface of his back catalogue in a live setting. It's such a shame, so many great songs just sitting there being forgotten.

Such a huge back catalogue and to play 100+ dates with almost exactly the same setlist is criminal. If nothing else, how does it not bore him!? And his band?
