Oasis? A controversial one and not really 'outgrowing' them but my love for them has been spread out over other music where I never intentionally listen to them much these days, not even the classic stuff.

But it is better in a sense though - my impression of their classic 90s material has not been diminished in any sense, despite not listening to it as much. And the sense of awe is greater when you do eventually listen to it. There are some days I have my iPod on shuffle and after a slew of unremarkable tracks, a track like Listen Up will come on and hit you in the face and perk you up just like it did the first time around, and then you realise that in amongst the doubts (and fears) that you have lost touch with the band, you realise that love is still buried there in amongst all the other sounds and thoughts in your head.
