Your best one yet, when did you write this? Any plans to give us a listen to a full band version when you get round to it? Keep it up, keep writing and writing, and keep discovering new music (the latter because you never know what influences lodge firmly into your subconsciousness). I did write it in several times. I had the verses melody for two months and the rest of the song came two weeks ago. I'll try to give you a listen to the full band versions soon, with the old and new tunes I love finding new bands that move me, even if it's a difficult task. There are a lot of very talented young bands around, but not all of them are of my taste and make my imagination works. The last current band I've discovered that gives me a lot of inspiration, is Alvvays. I don't know if you have listened to their self titled debut (and if you have, maybe you'll disagree), but I think my tunes share some similarities with some of theirs (Archie Marry Me , Adult Diversion, Next Of Kin), melodically speaking. Funny thing is, I can tell you all the bands that inspire me but I'm unable to know what bands really influence my writing.

Thanks guys for the feedback ! The full band version is totally electric and a bit faster (and longer) . Nice to hear your voice! I like that, and the song sir, very relaxing. Never stop going for it.

That's really good lubeck! I mean for real Nice vocals, nice lyrics... and I love the instrumental chord progression at the ending. It has a gorgeous mood which kinda reminds me of early-Oasis b-sides (a bit Spaceman-ish, Alive, some hints of Fade Away) and yeah, also some Ride as @driver7 said ( this acoustic version of Chelsea Girl, for example). Great work!

It's like Ride covering early Oasis while snorting cocaine off some hooker's ass.

Good stuff! Really reminds me of Noel's early, optimistic, break-away songs like the b-sides others have mentioned. Would love to hear a full band version!

i heard this before when it's unfinished demo. i like this improve nearly final version. good punk vibe with a simply beauty chords circulation. desirous singing and lyrics that are at once fun, macho, rebel and sexy.

Yes, I had just written half of a verse. Glad you like it. Will disagree with it being "macho" but I'll take the rest of what you said

I definitely think there's potential there. I agree with keke that it sounds like something that should be pushed towards a punk sound - not dissimilar to Fade Away perhaps. Now I'm not one to overstate the importance of a chorus but I would search for something new in that regard. The song felt like it lost it's way a little and you don't find many punky songs that shy away after a verse or two. The verses certainly have some strength to them though it's got to be said they are pretty reminiscent of verse 2 of Bring It On Down (" You're the uninvited guest who..."), even to the extended " ...tonight" endings. That said I wouldn't let that put you off at all - Noel's done more than his fair share of borrowing and I'm it's only naturally for songwriters to do so. And yeah the outro. That I did enjoy and actually found it to be the strongest moment. All in all good work, keep writing, re-writing and be sure to keep laying new stuff on us.

Only just got around to listening to this... I really enjoy the innocence of your work. It's raw, unpolished nature is actually a good thing. You should strive to maintain as much of this as possible when you record this properly. ----- The title had me thinking of this...

Trying to keep these songs as raw as possible is what we want too. We'll see how we'll end up sounding.

Finally got some time to listen to your stuff today. All of it sounds very soulful and honest, like you're wearing your heart on your guitar on some ways, which adds something really cool to the songs. I really enjoyed Sail Around the World. Out of your most recent ones, that is probably my favorite and hit the spot just right upon first listen. I love the chord change after the line "Sail around the world". It reminds me of the pre-chorus of Shiny Happy People by R.E.M.. You Drive Me Crazy would be second. I think you should definitely go for a straight-up rock approach and aim for putting a solo in there. It sounds like the type of song that would do well that way but what you have now sounds awesome. Loved your Columbia cover, that was a neat, acoustic take on an otherwise loud and busy song. The Untitled song kind of sounds like Shout it Out Loud and is a good start for a song. Per usual, good stuff lubeck!

lubeckI know it wasn't asked for, but here is an opinion anyhow... I LOVE the tenderness of the vocal. Only wish I could hear better what was being said. The guitar sounds, at times, disjointed from the melody. Not sure if this is intended or not. Overall... a pleasurable experience. Thanks, man.
